Jordan confesses

After Nicholas had long left, Shiloh began to sob.

"Mother, I cannot sleep." Said Kevin,rubbing his eyes with his tiny hands.

"Come here." Said Shiloh, wiping her tears away.

"Did that man make you cry?"

Shiloh chuckled.

"No son. He makes me happy."

"Then why are you crying?"

"Did you really cry to see me?

"No, I only said I miss you."

"Is that the real truth or are you telling me lies?"

"I swear that is the truth."

Shiloh smiled. She gave her son a kiss on the cheeks. Then told him a lovely tale to make him sleep and he did finally sleep.

Early in the morning, King Stephen woke up and saw that Carmen was not besides him. He went to the bath thinking he would find her there but still did not find her. He took the bath, slightly disappointed. When he was done, he put on his clean, grey coat and grey trousers,then placed his crown on his head. He went to the kitchen and found no one, but there was a good smell of something baked, perhaps bread or buns.
