Beta Josh’s POV

I pulled up to her house, I’m sure she told me she was off today and not seeing her yesterday had me crazy, I had no way to call her except on the house phone and can only stay on it a maximum of 10 minutes a night.

I pulled up and she was sitting on the porch steps waiting for me, she jumped up the second my car pulled up. I couldn’t wait to see her and got out of the car and met her on the sidewalk. I had to stop myself from hugging her, so I jammed my fists in my pockets, “hi beautiful,” I smiled looking down at her.

Her smile beamed up at me, “hi Josh, how was the party?”

I shrugged, “it was okay, my cousin had a great time, enough about that, come on I have an entire day planned and I intend to make up for not seeing you yesterday,” I opened the passenger door and she slipped in, I bent over her and buckled her seatbelt, and her scent was intoxicating as always. As I moved over her, she sucked in a breath and my head tilted towards her, her cheeks were flushed
