52 : blame the wolf

Bianca waited a few minutes before hearing three knocks on the bedroom door.

"It is me, Love," Magnus articulated, his voice less guttural than Maska's.

The young woman slowly opened the door and merely raised an eyebrow at the Alpha.

Magnus opened his arms to embrace her, but she raised a hand to stop him.

"Let's be clear here, Magnus. Maska has upset me. And, while I conceive the idea that you two are totally different people, there is no way I'm letting you hug me while I'm knowingly ignoring Mister Wolf," she said thoughtfully. The sparkle that usually shone in Bianca's eyes was completely gone. "I completely understand that you are not responsible for what happened between him and me, but I don't intend to treat this body any differently depending on the host that occupies it."
