Names and incoming retributions(s)

Eliana POV

“I need names, little mate” Fermion's voice reached my ears as I dried my hair and I turned to him with confusion on my face.

“What names?” I asked and he sighed.

“Of everyone who ever touched or bullied you in that godforsaken pack” he said and my breath stilled in my nostrils as I tried to comprehend what he was asking.

“You want their names?” I was surprised at this, shocked even and the mere thought of it also brought me pain but I knew he was in the right for asking.

He had every right to know but it hurt me to even think about it, much less speaking it out loud so I could acknowledge how broken, sad and destroyed I already was.

But he was asking and I couldn't say no, Fermion had been understanding since he found out we were mates and he had never pushed me but I knew this one was something he wouldn't back off from because his voice and facial expression told me so.

He was determined to get those names but they were many and each had their own traumatic experience that was given to me.

Everyday I trained and trained just to be stronger and stronger and more capable of putting up mental walls and keeping them strong so these memories never came crashing down into me once again but I still couldn't and simple things set me off.

“Yes I do, I'm setting off for the pack at first light so you'll not see me tomorrow morning. I want to make the ones present pay” he said with rage in his voice and my heart swelled as my eyes watered and I nodded.

I was not going to shield them from his wrath, they were all rotten to the core and I would love for him to be the one that helped me get rid of them but those three people that I heard escaped would suffer when I found them.

Or when he finally found them.

“I will write them down” I whispered lowly, taking a seat on the bed as he brought me a paper and for a minute I just stared at the paper and pen, names clashing in my head and my hands unable to write them down.

Each of them had caused me pain and as I mentioned their names within the crevices of my mind, pain tore at what last sanity I still held dear to me.

A year rolled down my cheeks and touched the paper and with resolve settling deep within my heart, I picked up the pen and began to write down names after names.

“From the one who called you names down to anyone of them that has ever laid a hand on you, I want to make them pay and there is nothing you would say that could stop me” i could understand that from his voice, Fermion was intent on destroying each and every one of them and I found out that I didn't care at all.

To hell with the pack, they will suffer the consequences of what they had done to an innocent little girl who had no hand in not having a wolf.

“You cam–” I choked on my words as I stopped writing, the names having ended at the number twenty three and for the first time, I saw how sad my innocent self was at the time.

I had no one by my side and the one I had turned out to be my mate and was just using me, I had suffered so much at their pack and this was the first step.

I would make them all pay by myself, this was Fermion getting revenge for me but when I finally found Gerard, Jason and Jade, I would kill them one after the other.

First I would kill Gerard in front of Jason and let him feel the pain I felt and then I will torture Jade so much she would wish for death and then I would do the same to Jason and at the end, I would make them bleed out with eyes on each other as their life left them.

It was not ruthless, I was just serving them the dish they served me. Of course, if they didn't take it then that would mean it was poisonous right?

They would all pay for what they did to me and for my little brothers that never grew up for two months in mother's stomach and for my dad dying without the knowledge of it.

I laughed tearily as my thoughts ran wild, I would take that out on them first before they died.

“Are you okay?” Fermion asked as he took the paper out of my hands and cradled my face and without thinking, I leaned into his touch as sobs began to rack through my body.

“Oh baby” his voice came out hoarse and filled with pain as he pulled me into his chest and I cried for so long that my eyes began to hurt and fatigue set into my bones like a chilling death.

“Rest now, little mate. I'll be here sooner than you could expect” he whispered softly as he gently took me to bed and covered me up before he kissed my cheeks and cradled my head to his body with his back to the bed post.

“Thank you” I whispered as my eyes began to close and my body began to shut down but I felt a small lightness in my chest after crying it out on someone who listened to me and understood my pain without giving me any pity.

“You don't have to ever thank me, little mate. It's my choice to make them pay and pay they will” he swore with heavy breaths of rage and I felt a small smile pulling up on my face before I slowly drifted off to sleep.

The next morning when Myra came to wake me up, Fermion was nowhere to be seen and she informed me that he had set out for the crescent moon pack as soon as the day began to brighten.

It brought a s smile to my face that he couldn't wait to seek justice for me and it also brought a smirk of satisfaction that those evil doers were this close to receiving retribution for their injustice on me
