Crowned In Flames, Claimed In Blood

Eliana POV

Voices filled my ears, hushed and inaudible to my human ears. I snuggled into my pillow all the more, trying to escape the voices even as it raised in volume but still remained incomprehensible to my ears. I twisted on the bed, a groan leaving my lips with frustration and the voices ceased instantly.

A sigh of relief left my lips as I slowly but surely fell back into slumber only to be woken by a scream so loud, my whole room shook and my ears rang loudly.

I was up on my feet in minutes, taking the steps two at a time as I rushed downstairs to find a scene that left me immobile and unable to comprehend what was happening before my very eyes.

My mother had been chained alongside my father and they were being held down by the pack's guards, their eyes met mine and for the first time in my whole fifteen years of existence, I saw something flash in their eyes. Fear.

“Mom.. dad…?” I couldn't complete my words when something slammed into my head and I was sent spiralling down to the ground, grateful that I had not been high up on the stairs when that happened.

My whole body flared up with pain and I bemoaned as I tried to crawl up to my knees but hands grabbed at my hair and drew me to my feet before they pushed me into mother's arms who caught me with a yelp.

“My baby” mom choked on her words and I knew something had gone wrong somewhere for this to be happening to us. My father was the elder brother of Alpha Garard and we had always been on good terms.

“Oh brother, this is a day I've waited for for a long long time” my eyes widened as Alpha Gerard waltzed into the living room like he owned the place and his aura was out fully, making me unable to breathe properly.

I had turned fifteen three months ago but never received my wolf just like the other kids and had been tagged as a dud in the pack.

I was shunned and cold shoulders became my new normal, bullied beyond measure. I was always bullied before but recently it had gone from bad to worse which was the equivalent of being the outcast of the whole pack.

My mother had told me that I might be a late bloomer but time passed by and still nothing happened at all and I had fallen straight into depression.

“Gerard?” Father's voice was filled with shock, that was what everyone was feeling. Uncle Gerard was my favorite and he was always there for me.

“Don't sound so surprised, brother. You knew this day was coming all along” Alpha Gerard spat with barely restrained distaste that had me feeling back into my mother and my body ached.

“I don't understand what else you want from me. I have given you everything you ever asked for” father exclaimed with pain clear in his voice.

“You take me for a fool? You pose a threat to I and my throne as the alpha and its high time I get rid of this threat. Your daughter just accelerated it” his eyes met mine with glaring satisfaction and I felt my whole world come to a stop.

“Me…” I trailed off with a question and he smirked.

“Of course. You don't have an Alpha wolf. Heck, you don't even have a wolf.” He laughed cruelly and I felt my eyes sting with tears that fell freely like rain.

I had poured out my heart and soul to this man's ears, thinking he was a great listener and the best uncle I could ever have. But he was just spying on my weakness, eager to find a way to destroy us. He had never seen me or any of us as family and I could tell at that moment that he had planned this for years.

“This is not you, what would your son even think of you?” Father barked out, defiance now replacing the pain and fear he held before.

“Nothing short of good riddance” a voice had my whole body going still. That voice had my whole body coming alive with desire and my head swiped to the side to find someone whose face knocked the breath out of me instantly.

Soon to be Alpha Jason, he wasy bestfriend but stopped associating himself with me when my wolf never emerged. He was always going around with Jade, his chosen Luna from the neighboring pack who hated me for reasons best known to her.

“The fuck” his voice brought me out of my thoughts, it was filled with malice and hatred and disgust marred his beautiful features.

“What is it, son?” Alpha Gerard questioned with furrowed brows at his son's words and he matched up to me and grabbed my face roughly.

I bemoaned softly at the pain but pleasurable sparks alighted from where our skin touched, his touch wavered for a moment at it and for a moment– I saw the boy i had known all this years. But it disappeared as soon as it came and I was looking at the man who now hates me.

“The moon goddess must be playing with me for her to send me you, as a mate. What a joke!” He exclaimed, roughly pushing me to the ground and my head skammed hard into the ground which caused pain to flare up immediately and I groaned out loud with pain.

“What?. You don't mean to accept this trash” Alpha Gerard spat with distaste as his eyes glanced up to me but I remained where I am, fear and pain beginning to rise up within me as the thought of what was to come had me going numb slowly.

“Of course not. What do you take me for?” He sent back to his father and a smile broke out on his face.

“Good. Get on with it” Alpha Gerard waved it off and he nodded, before he set his eyes on me with resolution.

“I, Soon to be Alpha Jason Fort. Rejects you, Eliana Osiris as my mate or future Luna. From this moment on, you seize to mean anything to me” he said and a searing pain hit me— a loud scream leaving my lips as I bowed over from the pain.

“Accept you, you wench” Alpha Gerard spat at me but I was delirious with pain, my whole body weakening as I clutched at my chest and mother dragged me into her. Sobs racking through her form at my pain.

“Oh baby” mother whispered brokenly into my ears but I could not respond to her, my teeths were clenched together in a bid to try and mute the pain but it kept coming.

Like an onslaught of painful daggers aimed at my heart, my breathing came out heavy as it began to recide but a hand grabbed my neck and drew me to my feet.

“Accept it” he barked into my face, saliva spewing off his mouth to slam into my face and revulsion rolled through me at his touch as an energy rose within me. I forced out with a clear voice, despite the pain in me that kept on increasing by the minute.

“I, Eliana Raven Osiris accept the rejection of Alpha Jason and hereby declare that, we now hope no connection between us as a mates or a pack” Their face contorted with rage at my words as the seating pain of a link snapping filled my mind and I forced on a pain filled smile before my vision swirled and I lost consciousness.
