The Information On The Trained Rogues

Fermion POV

“Little mate” I called out as I laid down the tray by the table beside the bed and she groaned before bringing up the duvet to cover her face but a voice screamed from downstairs.

“Remind that if she doesn't get her ass to the training grounds in an hour, then she would be punished” Myra's words had her springing out of the bed. But then, she stopped and groaned as she held her hips and I smirked before bringing the tray of food to her face.

“It's not poisoned, is it?” She asked as she took it and I laughed softly before shaking my head and she began to eat it.

When she was done, I showed her the bathroom and gave her the privacy she needed to wash up while arranging a change of clothes for her.

We met downstairs and I escorted her to the training grounds all without making any chats

“You don't seem angry that you didn't mark me” she said as soon we stopped before the training grounds and I smiled.

“It doesn't bother me. Everyone knows you're mine, you will. Soon” I responded to her calmly and she smiled gratefully which caused a sort of pride to radiate from my lycan.

“Oh shit it, it was all me” I chided inside my mind and it growled before disappearing from my mind.

“Thank you” she replied and before I could blink, she surged forward and pecked my cheeks before rushing off with a flush and this time, I blushed with a stupid smile on my face.

“Really? It's your turn now?” Jared's voice had the smile disappearing from my face as he came to stand beside me, Grayson too but I didn't see Logan. I wasn't surprised in the least, he was the loner type but we liked him that way.

“Oh shit it, Jared. Don't sound so pained. It's not a good look on you” Grayson chided with a smirk and I forced in a laugh at the face Jared made at him.

It was funny, Jared was more like me. The serious type but ever since Eliana came, he began to joke more and it was fun.

“Yeah. Says the one who's been leaving the lake with a smile on his face. I'm gonna go talk to her” he said, resolve settling into his voice and I smirked before turning to face him.

“Hit me. I need something. Anything on those pricks” I said, voice without the joke it had before and they both straightened up.

“We came across some leads on them but it disappeared when we went after it and after that, it all went blank.” I had come across this sort of thing before and the only being that could make that happen was one.

“Rogues. They're in cohorts with rogues or somehow they have something to do with rogues” I said, my brain running through different simulations as to how they escaped and how we couldn't find them no matter how much we tried.

I had had such a run in with them many years back before I became the alpha of this pack and they had dealt with me, I was a lone lycan then and although I managed to kill them all, I knew they were not to be easily messed with.

There were many different types of rogues once but now, two were in those wild woods.

One were normal and easily killed rogues and the others that were hard to track were called blood wolves. They thrived on bloodlust and knew just the right points to attack to get their kill.

I kept tabs of them for a long time now but their location kept changing and even having destroyed most of them before, I wasn't privy to that tiny bit of information.

At the moment, I forced my hands into a fist at the thought of having given them mercy when they asked for it. I had killed a lot of them but if I knew that they would begin to harbor criminals all over again, I would have made certain they all had died.

I would find them, no doubt and I would make them pay again for the blood they caused me and for the new pain they were causing my mate each time she hears of her tormentors still being alive.

But right now, I needed to get somethings out of the way.

“Why do you think rog-” Jared cut himself off as realization dawned on him and he sucked in a breath sharply before turning to me.

“You don't mean it. Fuck” he cursed when I said nothing to appease his disbelief. It was true and he knew all this because he was also a victim of it and had been there the day I broke it apart.

He had been a captive once and had suffered for a while two years before I found him beaten and bruised in the gutters. I had thought him incapable of being saved but he had proved me wrong so I took him with me and that had been my reason for coming to claim my birthright at this pack.

“Fuck… fuck” he cursed over and over again.

“Get some warriors ready. We leave for the crescent moon pack at dawn, it's time I made some of them in that file pay for their wrong doing against my mate when she was there.

“We can start there. I want to come with you” we both turned to Grayson in shock and he raised an eyebrow. “What?”

“What do you want to come do with us? Treat them to death with Anastasia?” Jared asked and I had to withhold my laughter.

“I can still poison them to death, you know. I also have an unfinished business with them for harming my Luna” he glanced backwards and I nodded, pride settling into my bones.

Eliana had captured hearts so fast even without knowing she did and I knew if it came down to it, they would lay their lives down for her without question
