I ran as fast as my legs could take me, chasing after this black figure. Today, I had to catch whoever this person was. I knew for sure that this person was connected to the deaths of the pack members.

Trying to make me stuck, trying to cause more trouble for me. But I would not let it happen. I could already hear Frost's voice behind me, yelling my name for me to stop.

“Rya! Rya!” he called, but I did not answer. Instead, I ran faster and faster, not stopping. Any corner she took, I took with her. I did not realize I had already gotten outside the palace through the back door, and I was now at the edge of the cliff. I had to stop.

How could she possibly do something like this? I looked around and wondered, was I just hallucinating or what? I clearly saw her jump, but staring down at the cliff, it seemed like an endless pit.

I turned, seeing Frost behind me as he was breathing heavily, clearly so tired. “What? What happened? What are you chasing after?” he said to me as I could alre

Rya's POV"What just happened? What did I just do?" I lowered my head and asked myself. All I felt at that moment was shame—but in a good way. I only wondered for a second why what happened had to occur in the garden? Why didn't fate let it be in a bedroom? Gods knew that I would have ravaged every part of him and savoured every taste in his body. Even if he would be reluctant, I would have given myself to him willingly, and would go more rounds until exhaustion weakened his bones. His touch was... soft. The manner in which he pulled me? I could suspect I wasn't the only one looking forward to that moment. He was... wild, uncontrollable, and I loved him that way. The moment our lips locked, Fully leaped in utmost excitement within me. She squealed, almost as though she was taking over my body to have him to herself. "Mate! Mate!! Mate!!!" She kept yelling within. His kiss had ignited something inside me. Filly finally confirmed what I had long suspected. Frost—he was my fated mat

  • Crowned In Vengeance   Chapter 136: Burning Desires

Frost's POV I sprang from my bed as soon as I noticed the sun sitting high in the sky, and its rays falling into the room. I was anxious, frantic, afraid. There was still that lingering fear from the premonition I had. My visions were getting worse. And if I didn't tackle them early, the results would cripple me forever. I rushed out of the room, in search of Rya. Where was she? Was she okay? The questions flooded through my head as I walked around, scanning the entire place, searching for her. Surprisingly, she wasn't too hard to find. As though she knew I was searching for her, she walked out from a room, looking refreshed and ready for the day's activities. "Hey," her face beamed with so much excitement as she saw me. But I was one hasty man who had already killed the mood with the urgency in my tone. "Where are you going?" I grabbed her hand tightly and asked. I was scanning the environment with heavy breath. In a fleeting moment, my fears were mirrored in her. Her eyes bul

  • Crowned In Vengeance   Chapter 135: Knight In Shining Armour

Frost's POV The entire night was torturing. The hormones wouldn't keep rushing like a flood, and neither did the thoughts of Rya vanish completely from my head. I laid for most of the night, turning on my bed, eyes widened but praying for a deep slumber. By morning, the feeling had changed. I began feeling her—feeling her emotions at random hours, in random places. I was training in the field, and there was this certain exhaustion that weighed on my chest throughout. I couldn't just fathom it. That wasn't all. At the moments when she was far away from me, there would be this form of fear gripping me tight, making my heart double in its rhythm. The bond between us wasn't just a memory or a mere feeling. It felt alive, and it was waking slowly. On a certain day, the council held its meeting. I couldn't decipher for what reason was best known to Rya, she insisted that I must be present in the room. Thankfully, I had gotten over the trauma that came with that room. The flashes of the

  • Crowned In Vengeance   Chapter 134: Unspoken Feelings

Frost POVIt was a cool but beautiful evening. The clouds were dark, thick, and heavy, like it would be a heavy downpour. The trees danced as the winds blew through its leaves—soothing but shivering, followed by the rumbling noises in the skies. But it was even more beautiful, especially because Rya had invited me to join her for dinner. It wasn't just the first dinner I had with her since she released me—it was the first we had in years. The large mahogany table separated the both of us. But it didn't restrict my eyes from feeding off her beauty. She was dressed in an elegant stain dress that swept through the floor. It had long sleeves, pleated, with the cleavage intentionally dropped down lower to expose her bright skin and her bosoms. Her makeup was perfect. Her hair was well brushed, and tied into a bun. She had prepared for the night, looking her best... the most ravaging beauty I had ever set eyes on. The space between us was too loud. I yearned to hold her hand, feel her s

  • Crowned In Vengeance   Chapter 133: Tests

Rya's POV"Hey. Can I talk to you?" Lia whispered to me, pulling me by the hand.I had just finished my first official council meeting ever since I became queen. I officially unveiled the moonstone to them just as I had promised to do at my own pace. And as usual, the air in the room was thick. Tension rose as I remade laws and fixed the tiniest loopholes I had noticed in the dealings between the Silver Fang pack and the other packs. Most of the elders seated in the room had their emotions clouding their judgment. And the higher percentage of attendance wanted to pull me down. When the meeting was over, Lia cornered me to the side. She was in a whole different mode—very strange. Perhaps it was all the stress revealed in her countenance. Who knew? Her countenance had changed. She was as stiff as a rock for the very first time. "Is there a problem, Lia?" I was forced to ask. "Why are you trying to hide?" She shot at me. I jerked back for a second. Her question was synonymous with

  • Crowned In Vengeance   Chapter 132: Fear wears many faces

Frost's POV A few days had passed, and the Alpha's residence was completed. Rya had asked me to move in out of the goodness of her heart. And I didn't hesitate. It was the most impressive masterpiece of a building I had ever seen. She had done her best to make the house well furnished—with chandelier shining brightly from the ceiling, sofas, and a lot more which I couldn't even list. She had some of her maids and guards stationed around the house, always at my beck and call. I was back to comfort, all because of Rya. That sunny afternoon, I intended to feed my eyes with more of the wonders Rya had performed. I started off with a short stroll around the house, and back to the front yard, when I sighted a figure approaching from afar. I halted in my steps, and squinted my eyes to identify who it could be. The walking steps were familiar, and when I strained even harder, I realized who it was. "Billy?" His name slipped through my lips with shock gripping me tight. That was my beta—a
