Carter's POV
I find George in the bar, on his phone. He drops it immediately he sees me and signals the waitress over to bring us drinks.
"You showed." Drink in hand, George turned to me when the waitresses disappeared. "So how are things working out with Isabella?"
"Good, just dropped her home." I say taking the seat next to him.
"Home? And where is home?" George asks raising his eyebrows.
"My apartment." I muttered suddenly on instantly on alert. George has voiced out his concern, clearly not approving of my non relationship with Isabella. I didn't want it to be a bone of contention between us. Before I could say anything, George continued.
"Sounds to me like you're in a relationship with Isabella."

Isabella’s POV Another rather uneventful day at work, well till it took an eventful turn. Isabella’s POV After yesterday night, after our fight Carter and I didn’t talk much. He stayed over at my apartment and left in the early hours of the morning. I don’t see him again till he calls me to his office to have lunch with him which by the way he didn’t stay. He was insanely busy. Three conference calls. Two meetings, plus countless other calls he had to return. So there was no crazy hot office sex to alleviate the burn, or any making up after our fight. Isabella’s POVI wake up alone in Carter’s bed which is not unusual for him. For someone who sleeps late he also never sleeps in even during weekends like today he’s up early.I check the time on the bedside clock and it says past 11 am, almost 12. Carter’s POV Isabella was icing me out, well can’t say I don’t deserve it because I do. I knew if people saw us getting intimate at the glass room they would probably be repercussions and I didn’t do anything to stop it. Isabella’s POV One whole week of endlessly perfectness. We’ve eaten amazing food prepared by our very own very talented chef, we also made it out of our own private island and into the main island, we ate beautiful restaurants and swam in the Caribbean Sea. We’ve made love under the stars, and fucked until we couldn’t breathe. Carter is perfect and think I might be in love. Utterly, completely, and irrevocably in love and it scares the fuck out of me. We’re finally back to New York and like I said our almost sex tape is old news now. Some New York elite investment banker cheated on his wife with hookers so that’s the new story going around, my indiscretion with Carter totally in the past. Carter and I have dinner later with his family, his sisters family dinner but I got invited too. I’m so anxious of meeting his mother again, it was clear the last we met she didn’t like me so I’m a little scared.
