CHAPTER 41

Isabella’s POV 

I wake up alone in Carter’s bed which is not unusual for him. For someone who sleeps late he also never sleeps in even during weekends like today he’s up early.

I check the time on the bedside clock and it says past 11 am, almost 12. I look around for my phone I don’t know where I dropped last night.

I don’t find it in Carter’s bedroom so I just go into the bathroom brush my teeth, by the way I even have my own toothbrush here. Then I wash my face, put on one of Carter’s robe before going downstairs.

Downstairs I find his house keeper cleaning.

“Good morning ma’am,” the sweet middle aged polish woman say to me.

“Good morning Milena.” I say returning her smile.“Should we serve you breakfast?” She asks and I nod yes.

“Is Carter out?” I ask.

“No he’s in the gym.” S
