On a sandy beach overlooking crystal clear water. Perfectly white sand of extra fine consistency reflected the dazzling lights of the hot blinding sun across its surface. Waves crashed away from the shore leaving the soothing sounds of water constantly churning in the area. Palm trees fenced in the border of the sand from the rest of this tropical paradise. The sounds of teaming life busily doing things echoed through the land. Birds were squawking and chittering, insects were buzzing and chirping. The feint sound of keys tapping could be heard. Sitting under a lone large umbrella, sprawled out on large blanket was a man with short brown hair wearing what seems to be a perfectly white robe. In front of him is a small laptop that he is busily typing away on. On the screen is a message window with scrolling text. On closer inspection it is a chat room. Back in the apartment, 10 minutes had gone by. The girl was a nervous wreck. Her anxiety had forced her brain into tumultuous tangents all leading to the worst possible scenarios. By this time, her brain had settled on the fact she was probably going to be removed from the chat room permanently on top of getting yelled at. She really enjoyed this chat room. The people were always so lovely. Her eyes were closed as she clutched her head. She heard that tell tale ding, and her breath caught in her throat. She couldn't force herself to look at it. Maybe if she just ignored it, it would go away. She sat there for a couple of minutes. But there was only the one ding. She finally managed to drum up enough courage to slowly peak at the screen between her fingers. What she saw left her stunned. After a moment she pulled her hands away from her face. Closed her eyes. In the middle of her falling down something caught her. Warm strong arms embraced her before a single bit of her could touch the floor. A soft soothing voice caught her ear. "It is ok, it is not that big a deal" He says and then pecks her on the cheek. A golden light forms and a small crest appears on her cheek where he kissed. The crest is of an arrow piercing a heart. It glows before vanishing. Cupid sighs. "You have received my blessing" He says a little sadness in his voice. She is too shy to ask about it concentrating on the blessing he had just bestowed on her. "What blessing?" She asks. Cupid smiles at her "the blessing of love. Within the next three days your true love will find you." Amy gasps. That was it? A simple peck on the cheek and her true love will find her? She couldn't believe it would be that easy. "Ma'am, are you ok??" he asks again seeing the look on her face. Amy stares at his face, a slight blush coming to her cheeks. She cant form the words and she stutters a little. She then asks the attendant "Two footlongs please! load them up" The cart attendant pulls the hot door open, reaching in with a pair of Thongs, he grabs two large foil wrapped dogs.
