Blakely Not once did my mates let me out of their sight. As I moved to the table, tentatively reaching for a veggie tart, so did they. Blakely The tunnels beneath the arena went much further than I’d anticipated. Dhara herself had carved them out thousands of years ago, creating a palace below the crust of the earth. She, along with Amora and Nyssa dragged me from the main room and down a corridor that led to a large suite. Orbs of flickering light protruded from the smooth, stone walls. Within the suite was everything I could’ve ever wanted. Namely, a large copper bath and a bed. Thank the Goddess. I mean, thank me—I guess. The three Goddesses assigned themselves the task of readying me for tomorrow night. No amount of protesting on my end seemed to sway them. Blakely A male, who looked like a half-shifted wolf, stood guard at the stairs leading to the upper level. Coarse hair appeared from the neckline of his muscle shirt, and his hands were that of claws. Even his teeth appeared a bit longer, much too sharp to have been that of a human. “You have a VIP pass?” Azrael smirked, “We have something even better.” With a smack on my rear, he nudged me forward. Already ahead of the game, I let my hold slip on my glamor. My skin began to brighten, the silver glow pulsating throughout the club. Slowly, without a trace of modesty, I closed my legs and situated my breasts so that they were fully covered by the sheer bralette. “Glad you enjoyed the show.” Azrael purred, brushing a stray hair from my face. His touch, while tender, was laced with a possessiveness that had me clenching my legs. Elias, who looked disheveled and not in the “I just had sex” kind of way, glanced behind him at the lower floor. Blakely Both hellhounds had been slinking through the zombified crowd, creeping up on either side of Jade. They lunged at my face, maws wide open and teeth shining with dried blood. A hiss emerged from between my clenched teeth as the water hit the numerous wounds slowly healing across my body. It had taken my mates an hour to dig every fragment of glass from my back, ass, and thighs. Eventually, my mind wandered from the pain. Blakely Elias, Sephtis, and the rest of us ignored him. Reaching across the table, Dhara unfurled a map of the city. Magic shimmered across the page, creating a life like rendition of Solana and Lunette’s home. The entire city was a large circle, surrounded by walls of what appeared to be translucent stone. I knew without asking that both sunlight and moonlight were able to permeate the walls, filling the alleyways and streets with a constant ethereal glow. At the very center stood a castle. It’s spires reached high into the air, forming jagged points that kissed the sky. Half of the monument was made of dark, ebony stone while the other half was crafted with gold. It was the perfect blend of day and night, sun and moon, light and dark.
