116: Unmasking the unseen

As I walked into Jayden's room, I immediately noticed that something was wrong. His bed was unmade, his clothes were scattered all over the floor, and he was nowhere to be seen.

I called out his name, but there was no response. I searched the room frantically, looking for any clues as to where he might have gone. But there was nothing.

I turned to my security men, hoping that they would have some answers. But they too were at a loss. None of them had seen or heard anything suspicious.

I felt a wave of panic wash over me. Jayden had become like family to me, and the thought of him being in danger was unbearable.
