Iris’s Point of View

I woke up after a quick slumber. While I was sleeping, I had come to a conclusion: I can’t die just yet. The information revealed showed me a world I didn’t want to become true. It was a way for the Moon Goddess to help her children again.

Why did she give me such a heavy burden? I don’t know, but it wasn’t the time to question her actions. It was time for me to do what I was supposed to do.

I wanted to talk to Kayden. He could help me with my plan. I still wanted to find a

Once again, I was in the middle of the forest. I knew this place, and I wish I weren't here.My mate needed me. I knew she was bleeding, and I noticed when her aura disappeared, meaning that she had been taken somewhere else. That distracted me and allowed Amelia to trap me in this state. I have tried to break out of this dream, but it's been impossible. I thought maybe the Moon Goddess would come and explain her plan, as she had before, but this time I was left alone in this forest. Not even Atlas was around, meaning whatever spell she used blocked my wolf.I decided to walk through the forest. I couldn't stay here and wait for someone to show up; I had to find a way out. I don't know much about this realm; it seems stuck in time, and I thought the Moon Goddess was the only one who could access it, but apparently she wasn't.Just how powerful is Amelia? I get that she is a witch, one that can be compared to Esmerie or Iris, and she was the daughter of an Alpha, meaning that she is a

I woke up in a dimly lit room. I heard a beeping sound on my side, but no one was here to tell me anything this time. Kaylee wasn't in the room, nor were Silvana or anyone else.I tried to call the nurses, but my throat hurt a lot. I looked at my arm, and they were giving me something through an IV line that was keeping me hydrated, but I felt my lips dry.Next to me, there was a call button, so I pressed it. I hoped someone had news on Kaylee. I also want to know where the hell Kayden and Esmerie are. I didn’t have the chance to look for them during the battle, but now I wanted to know where they were. Amelia probably kidnapped them because I don’t believe for a second that they were killed.A nurse instantly entered my room, running like a headless chicken. She looked at me, and her eyes widened.“Alpha Alec, are you feeling okay?” she asked.I pointed at my throat so she could get the hint that it hurt.“Oh! Right, sorry. Let me get you some water and the doctor,” she said as she t

I tried to keep myself sane, but it seemed like an impossible mission so far. Esmerie was trapped in some spell, the same way Kayden was. Iris was in the ICU because she almost lost her baby. I don’t know the details of her case, but I was told it was very delicate. She used too much power, and as a consequence, she started labor. They brought Esmerie and Kayden to the hospital to monitor them and administer fluids and nutrition. We didn’t understand their state, so it was the only thing we could do until we found a solution.I come every day to visit Esmerie. I also go to Iris’s ward to talk to her. She is devastated; she wants to go to where Kayden is and try to help him, but the only thing stopping her is the future of her baby. The doctor was clear when he told her she could put the baby’s life in danger if she used more magic.“Hello honey, how are you today?” I said sweetly.I don’t want Esmerie to know I am sad. I love her too much and can’t bear to see her like that, but I nee

I lost consciousness when we arrived at Kayden's pack.I tried to stay conscious but couldn't; my eyelids felt too heavy, and darkness soon enveloped me. I had no idea what happened to me; I just knew that when I woke up, I was in the hospital, attached to several machines. My body ached from all the hits I took during the fight. I think I had a broken rib because breathing was impossible at the moment, and they had hooked me up to a machine that was helping me breathe. The nurses come almost every hour to check on me. They give me meds for the pain and some other things to keep me hydrated. Because of the machines I am hooked up to, I can't speak, and even though I have asked about Alec, they haven't said a thing to me.Winter and I are worried for him. We know he is not dead; we would have felt it through our bond, but the fact that they haven't told me any news about him and that no one else has come to my ward is worrying me.The mystery of where the hell Kayden and Esmerie were a

Amelia looked crazy, as if some side of her had finally snapped. I tried to get myself up, but I couldn’t; my body felt heavy, and my vision was blurry. The fight with Bastian wasn’t easy, and I knew I couldn’t fight Amelia either. I could only wait for her tentacles to strike us, but they didn't.Kayden was not dead—at least Bastian lied about that—and I had no idea where he was. Esmerie was MIA as well, and that wasn’t good for us. The only thing that could make matters worse was Kaylee’s father showing up.“We need to save her; even if we die trying, we need to save Kaylee,” Mars implored me.I tried to get up, but my body wasn’t responding; I was too hurt to continue fighting, but I had to pull strength from somewhere.Kaylee wasn't far from me, but it felt like an impossible mission to reach her right then. Amelia was looking at us like we were boring her.“You are not going to fight?” she asked, like a little kid when someone told them they wouldn't play. “That is not fun; I wan

My worst enemy was standing in front of me. I started trembling; I couldn’t control it. I hadn't expected to see him here, though he looked different. Back in the pack, he had brown hair, but now it was white. He was also a polar bear.I have found out our distinct characteristics, and our white hair and icy blue eyes are something no one else has. I should have known when I saw he had one eye that color, but I never thought another person belonged to my species. Was he a werewolf as well? Because he smells of wolf, that means he is a mixture of both species.“Where is Kayden?” Alec asked angrily.“Oh, that false king you had? Dead,” he smirked and shrugged.Kayden is dead? No, it can’t be. He is the strongest wolf alive; there is no way he is dead, no way in hell. I know how much power he has from being a king and Iris’s mate, so there is no chance he is dead.“You are lying,” Alec growled. I looked at him and saw he was sure of it.“Am I? Then where is he? And as you can see, I am c
