Drasa POV

I want him gone, I didn't want to see him again after the stupid stunt he pulled on me but the look he had on his face melted the hardest part of me away, I can't show him that…no, not now.

“When you figured out I wasn't answering my phone or returning your calls, what was the best thing to do at that point? You leave me the heck alone!!” My voice was loud but I managed not to be too loud.

“Are you saying I did the wrong thing by coming down to speak with you?” He questioned, I could hear how hurt he was feeling from his voice.

I didn't know what else to say, what word was meant to process after that, rather than speaking I stood still looking confused.

“What the hell is going on between you two?” Kai’s voice broke through my thoughts.

“None of your business, go wait outside for me.” He said, his voice echoed with command.

“Okay, I will leave you two to fix whatever this is… I will be in the car.” He said and left without arguing.

I was surprised at Kai’s behavior, he is known to be a stubborn fella, and he always has something to say. ‘What have I ignited?’ I questioned myself while my eyes searched for the unknown.

I was still lost in thought when I saw a figure showing up in front of me. Cassian has stepped forward and I didn't realize on time. “Tell me what you want and I promise to grant you your wish.” He said.

My eyes were still fixed on the floor as they darted from one place to another, my voice became hollow, unable to go beyond. “I said I want–” I didn't finish before he cut me short.

He raised my head up til our eyes were locked on each other. “Tell me what you want while staring into my eyes, and I promise to do whatever you say.” He said.

I stared at his deep blue eyes, damn those eyes are the most seductive one I have ever since in a long long time, I was so lost in it that I couldn't speak again. “I said I want you to leave me alone.” My voice was beyond whisper, I couldn't even hear myself as those words left my mouth.

He leaned in closer and whispered into my ears. “Speak up D, I can't hear you.” His hot breath pressed deeply into my ear and that sent shivers all over my body.

‘Fuck, what was he trying to do?’ I asked myself as I fought so hard to resist everything he was doing but my knee was succumbing to everything.

I took a few steps back as I tried to steady my breathing but there wasn't enough time to do that when he closed the gap between us again, his finger trailing my messy hair, pushing a strand to the back of my ear and caressing my face softly. “Tell me what you want Drasa, do you want me or you don't?”

His question is tricky, he knows how much I want him, I have wanted him more after the kiss, every part of my body was calling out for him, every part was yearning for his touch, how he grabbed my ass was everything I can imagine, the way he moved his lips around my neck was all that rang in my head…so fuck him for asking me a question that screams obvious.

“I dont-don’t know what I want.” I stuttered, trying to find balance.

“But you need to decide what you want D.” His finger trailed through my neck as his lips pressed against my neck softly, before kissing it gently.

I didn't want him to stop, at least not now… I wanted more, I fought everything within me to stop him from going further but my body couldn't resist every touch of his.

He kept kissing my neck gently then slowly and gradually he moved his lips to my ears, bite them softly. I didn't know when I let out a soft moan.

“Fuck.” I said, my breath hitched and my hands were grabbing the hem of my hoodie.

He kept teasing me for about thirty seconds and just when the fun was just starting, the door flew open and immediately we pulled away from ourselves.

Maya, opened the door looking a little bit confused but shut the door to avoid outsiders from intruding. “What is going on?” She asked with a smile on her face but she did so well to hide it.

“Nothing, Cassian was just leaving.” I said and immediately his facial expression switched.

“I'm sorry did I interrupt anything? I could come back later.” She suggested but instead of accepting her request to leave so I can continue whatever was going on rather I went to pull her into the room properly.

“No, this is your room too…and he was just getting ready to leave.” I said but deep within I wanted him to stay.

“Are you sure? I can come back.” Maya urged.

“No, you don't need to…I was just about to leave like she said.” Cassian said as he took a little step closer, kissed my forehead and walked out of the room. “Goodbye D.”

After the door was shut, the noise from the hall erupted again but I didn't care. “What was that? Why did you ask him to leave?” Maya asked as she pulled me to the bed.

“Nothing, he was going to leave anyway.” I replied as I sat on the bed.

“I know but not now, I could actually go to the store to grab a few things if you needed more time with him.”

“No, I didn't need any more time with Cassian, you came in at the right time too.” I lied through my teeth.

“Uh-huh… I didn't come in at the right time, I literally ruined your moments with him and I feel very terrible about it and stop lying to yourself that you didn't need more time with him, the look you had on your face felt like you needed the whole day with him.” She said as she began to undress.

“What look?” I questioned, my voice breaking

“This look of ‘I want you to fuck me so hard, daddy.’ that is the kind you got on your face a few minutes ago.” She said,

My face began to flush but I kept my cool. “That is not true, that is a lie too.” I defended myself.

She turned to look at me and bursted into laughter. “You don't need to be shy around me right now, I know you want him as much as he wants you…don't deny yourself pleasure, you should live in the moment and not shy away from it.” She added as she walked into the bathroom.

I let out a sigh as I picked up my phone to check what was trending but the first message that popped up was a message from Cassian.

Message:

I messed that up. I know. I made you come out when you were already drowning in attention you didn’t ask for. I thought maybe being with me, face-to-face, would help ease that weight, but all I did was throw more on you.

I’m sorry.

I should’ve told you this before everything got so loud before people started talking like they knew what we were, but the truth is, D? I like you. Not because of that kiss. Not because of some headline, but because you’ve made me feel more in three weeks than most people have in years. And I’m scared too, but I’m not walking away.

I don’t care what they post. I care about you.

So whenever you’re ready to talk for real….I’ll be here, no more surprises. No more games.

I stared at the message for about forty-five seconds before I could digest everything he was trying to say, my heart began to beat faster as I blushed really hard.

“Who made you smile so hard at your phone?” Maya’s voice broke through as I quickly yanked the phone away and started counting the fake stars.

“1…2…3…4–” I counted but immediately I was cut short.

“Don't pretend too hard, I know what you are trying to do, Cassian isn't it?” She asked with a crossed arm pressing against her breast.

“Uhmm, I think I should go check on my clothes, they should be dried by now.” I stood up and ran out of the room to avoid more questions from her.

“You will have to tell me, one way or another!!” I could hear her voice from behind as I walked fast like I was being followed by a monster.

When I got to the laundry room, regardless of Cassian showing up to my room, and all the girls were following him, it didn't stop the hatred. Rather it increased the disgusting looks and whispers but I had told myself I wasn't going to worry about anything they have to say.

I strode to the drying section to check out my clothes I had washed in the morning, just to find them soaked in dirty water, confused and filled with anger, I bursted out. “Who the bloody hell did this?!!” I yelled and immediately all movements stopped.

All eyes were fixed on me, my anger was building up and if I am not careful, I would tap into my power again and I don't want that to happen.

“What is she talking about?” A girl whispered to her friend. While others were pointing fingers to me.

“I said who the hell did this to my clothes!!!” I repeated and this time slower than the first.

“And what the hell will you do if you find out who did it?” One girl said as she stepped forward, her arms crossed, her steps calculated.

I scoffed as I looked at her, my eyes were burning with anger, my face was red and my fist clenched. “You wanna know?” I said in the lowest, most scariest tone ever and I could feel the energy shift, her face was ignited with fear but she maintained composure.

“Yes, you're nothing but a disgusting, shameless slut and clearly you don't belong here!” She said, the others were laughing and some brought out her phone and began to record as she spoke.

I took a few steps back as I laughed devilish, picked up a piece of my wet cloth, tied it across my wrist. “Come again, repeat it I dare you!”

“You're nothing but a–” I didn't allow her to finish but my hand flew faster than her words. I began to punch her continuously till I saw her mouth bleeding, I didn't stop neither did the girls separate us, they were enjoying the drama and I was so angry that I didn't care about the recording.

“What is going on here?” Mrs Green's voice came through but none of that stopped me, I was so lost in my anger.

I was pulled back by Maya who looked at me like she just saw a ghost.

“Drasa! That’s enough!” she yelled, shaking me hard enough to snap me out of it.

My breath was ragged, my knuckles sore, and the girl beneath me…her lip was busted, her nose bleeding, and her eyes swelling with tears and bruises.

I looked down at my hands, trembling. The cloth tied around my wrist was soaked in blood, and it wasn't just hers, I had split my knuckle.

The realization of what I’d done hit me, like an avalanche crashing in all at once.

“What did I just do?” I whispered, stumbling back as Maya held me firmly by the arms.

“She must have pushed you,” Maya said softly, trying to soothe me, “but this? You can’t let them pull that darkness out of you. You’re better than this.”

Mrs Green stormed through the crowd, her eyes scanning the chaos. “Who started this?” she barked.

No one answered. The girl on the floor whimpered and pointed at me with a shaky hand. “She’s dangerous,” she cried. “She attacked me for no reason.”

“For no reason?!” I snapped, stepping forward again, but Maya held me back, locking eyes with me.

“Don’t,” she whispered. “Please.”

Mrs Green looked between me and the other girl. “You, to the infirmary,” she told her, then turned to me. “And you? My office… Now.”

The crowd parted for me as I walked with Maya by my side. The glares, the whispered insults, the damn phones still recording, it all felt like a furnace around me, choking me with heat and shame.

Once we were inside Mrs Green’s office, the door shut hard behind me.

“I expected more from you, Drasa,” she said coldly, sitting at her desk. “This kind of behavior? It’s not just reckless, it’s dangerous. You nearly broke that girl's face.”

“She ruined my things,” I said, trying to keep my voice steady. “She poured dirty water on all of my clothes and called me a slut. I—I snapped.”

“Being provoked doesn’t justify violence,” Mrs Green snapped. “Especially not from someone like you.”

That hit me differently. Someone like me?

I knew she wasn’t talking about just my temper, she meant what I was, my hair color.

She took off her glasses and sighed. “I should suspend you or worse, but considering everything going on around here lately, and how targeted you’ve been… I’ll be fair.”

I sat there waiting, my jaw clenched, my blood boiling with anger.

“You’re going to clean the laundry room, every inch of it. And you're going to apologize to her sincerely. Then you're on probation, one more slip, and you're out of this facility. Understood?”

I nodded slowly, muttering, “Understood.”

“And you don't just stand there, take her back to her room. She needs to cool off.”

  • Cursed To Love You   chapter 40

Drasa POVSome days, I wonder why I’m still stuck behind this bar. Maybe it’s the money, maybe it's the weird sense of control I feel when I’m pouring drinks for people who clearly don’t deserve them. Or maybe it’s Amelia’s annoying laugh that somehow keeps me sane through it all.Work today was the same cocktail of chaos and crap. The moment we opened, some rich guy snapped his fingers at me like I was his personal maid. Another complained about the “temperature of the ice” in his whiskey, like I carved it out of the wrong glacier. The crowd only got ruder as the night went on, like some unspoken contest to see who could insult me with the biggest fake smile. You’re slow, and the drink’s weak.”I clenched my jaw, forcing a smile as I wiped the counter. “Then maybe you should try water next time.”He sneered. “With an attitude like that, you’ll be stuck here forever.”Before I could respond, Amelia slid in with a grin that was equal parts charm and threat. “Sir, I’d love to see you

  • Cursed To Love You   chapter 39

Drasa’s POVI barely made it to the dorm, the weight of every stare and whispered conversation pressing down on me with every step. Fingers pointed as I passed, people exchanged looks, but I didn’t care. Let them talk, let them judge, nothing new.I walked faster, not wanting to deal with their judgment for another second. As soon as I reached the door of my room, I pushed it open, barely taking a breath before stepping inside. Maya was sitting at her desk, buried in her books, headphones on, completely lost in whatever she was studying. I closed the door quietly behind me, leaning against it for a moment, just taking in the comfort of being in a space where I didn’t have to pretend to be anyone else but myself.I slipped off my hoodie and tossed it on the bed, the weight of the day pulling at me. I just needed a few minutes to breathe in fresh air.Maya didn’t even look up at first. I could hear the soft click of her pen as she scribbled notes. It was always the same focused and d

  • Cursed To Love You   chapter 38

Cassian POVI didn’t follow her this time. Not because I didn’t want to but because I could tell she needed space, again.I just stood there, frozen at the door of the closet, her words echoing in my head like bullets."I’m not a problem to be solved."She was right. God, she was so right.I leaned back against the wall and dragged my fingers through my hair, trying to breathe past the lump in my throat. I hadn't meant to make her feel…owned. Or trapped ... .I just wanted the world to know I was with her. That I chose her, that none of those videos, none of their jokes matter, neither will it change what is going to happen between us, but maybe I was doing it all wrong.I stayed in that damn closet until the halls were quiet and my breathing was steady enough to pretend I was fine cause I can't bring myself to understand why I am feeling this way. Then I headed out, my steps automatic, my mind still spiraling on how I am stuck in with her.By the time I made it to the courtyard, Kai

  • Cursed To Love You   chapter 37

Cassian POVYou would think after everything, she would at least look at me.But Monday proved me wrong, again. She walked into class with that same stiff posture, her hoodie drawn up like armor, eyes hidden behind heavy eyes and a stare aimed directly at the floor. There was a time I used to sit beside her and she'd smile before I even said anything. Now? She sat alone, and I—I still sat with her.I didn’t care that she moved her body away from me. I didn’t care that she hadn’t spoken to me in a whole day. I still took the seat next to her, just like I always did. I guess part of me thought if I stayed long enough, she’d remember what it felt like to have me there but she didn’t.She didn’t even blink when I said her name under my breath, or when I gently nudged her elbow with mine. Nothing, I might as well have been invisible. It hurt more than I thought it would and I keep wondering why I feel this way, nobody has ever made me feel this way. After class, I gave her space. Thought

Cassian’s POVI stood in the middle of the sidewalk, watching her disappear around the corner, her hoodie bouncing with every furious step. She didn’t look back once.I dragged a hand down my face, biting down the frustration burning in my chest like wildfire. This wasn’t how I’d planned it, not even close. I wasn’t supposed to push her, I was supposed to help her feel seen, like this storm she was stuck in wasn’t hers to weather alone. And instead, I dragged her out in the open, again acted like I wasn't bothered about what was going on. Like a fool, like I hadn’t learned anything.“Smooth, lover boy,” Kai’s voice echoed from behind me. “You’ve really got a way with the ladies. Kidnap them, confuse the hell out of them, then piss them off so much they vanish like smoke.”I turned, glaring. “Can you just….shut the hell up for once?”He raised his hands in mock surrender, that stupid smirk still etched into his face. “Hey, don’t shoot the reader of things. You’re the one out here h
