18 years ago, a little girl was born of a dynasty of werewolves; immediately, her parents noticed that she was different from her other peers. She was stronger, faster and her skills were multiplied. The old sages said that the girl born on the night of the red moon was a danger, so they exiled her family from the pack.

She was happy with her parents and her older sister; everything was perfect if they stayed together.

Each year that passed, the little girl became stronger and stronger, but she did not know how to use these skills.

“And you are obnoxious and old Janet….” I said my older sister and run away from her.

“How dare you little pest if I catch you!” My older sister said when I playing with her started running away from her by circling around Mom.

“Enough you two! Don’t throw a tantrum and let’s go.” Janet and I stopped at our mom’s order because it was better not to make her angry.

We walked into the forest on our way to our old clan. Even though my parents didn’t tell me, I knew it was my fault that we were exiled seven years ago.

After we turned into wolves, everything was more visible to me in the dark.

My father was the oldest of the four of us, and he had chocolate-colored fur and large yellow eyes. Mom had a coat like snow and beautiful blue eyes; my sister was like her, only her eyes were brown. I, on the other hand, had not taken from anyone; in my wolf form, my coat was black as the night, and it was difficult to see myself in the night; the only thing I noticed was my blood-red eyes. Mom tells me I’m special because I was born on a red moon night, and that’s why I’m like this!

‘Black as the night you illuminate the darkness with the red light of your eyes!’ My mother always repeated to me. But it is was still unknown to me...when I asked, she always tells me that I will know very soon.

We had been walking for half an hour when we heard noises. My father sniffed the air together with my mother. Then I could see the fear in the eyes of my parents.

“I know, we have to rush to get to Clan territory...NOW!” Mom and dad were scared, and my sister told me we had to run.

In the race, I heard other individuals running behind us. I turned and saw six people with white complexions and red eyes chasing us.

“Janet hides with your sister, don’t be found.”

Janet and I went outside after 1 hour to see where our parents were...

“AHH! Find them!” I did not understand a lot at that instant; the six vampires from before had surrounded us...where were my parents?

“Stay calm wolves, soon you will reach your mommy and your daddy.” The vampire who spoke had a face covered in blood...It was my mother’s, and this was not possible; she and dad were dead...dead.

"Sky go away!" My sister pounced on the vampire.

My sister went for the vampire. “No ... Janeeeetttt!” I screamed. After a few minutes, my sister’s body was on the ground in a pool of blood.

I... I was alone ... I became lonely... they were all dead...dead.

“Only you are missing baby, but don’t worry none of them suffered...Oops, I was wrong they howled as they died in excruciating suffering. HAHAHA..”

My gaze was lost in the void; I did not hear and saw nothing. My heart was surrounded by darkness and ice. When the vampires were in front of me, ready to eliminate me, something broke utterly when I recognized the smell of my family’s blood.

“Mom, dad, older sister don’t abandon me, I don’t want to be alone.” I screamed; tears welled up in my eyes.

“Little Nicolette Gary, we will always be with you!” one vampire said; come approach me; then I fell to the ground and cried out loud.

“Mom!?” I screamed call by my mom, but then she was no more. I can’t accept it at all. Mom, Dad and sis, where are you? I don’t to be alone.

“Princess, smile please... I don’t want to see tears on your pretty face.”

“Dad!?”

“Wren, you are the usual complainer, don’t worry about them, you have to live.”

 “Janet?!”

“No! Don’t leave me!” At that moment, I saw everything red, the anger in me, the hatred towards those vampires had grown to excess, but the fault was also of the Clan of the Moon Stone that even if we were in their territory, they did not rush to our help after having smelled the smell of the undead.

“What is it, baby, are you afraid? If you bow to my feet, maybe I will spare your life! HAHAHA.”

“You fucking rascal…...” with a growl, I pushed them away a couple of meters.

Then, following my animal instinct, I pounced on one of them, biting his head off! The others looked at me in fear, but they attacked me anyway. I don’t know how, but I was faster than them, faster than a normal werewolf; I knocked out two more with my claws.

The three remaining, realizing that they had no hope, began to run, but it was completely useless for them to look for an escape route. I sank my long fangs into their flesh until there was only one left.

“I don’t hit anything! Please spare me!” The vampire begged.

I returned to my human form, or so I thought because my eyes were still red.

“But you’re just a brat!” Believing himself stronger than a ‘brat’ the vampire advanced towards me; I thought of the pain that I felt and turned it to him. Suddenly he collapsed on the ground writhing in pain.

“Enough! What the hell are you?”

“How can you not know? I’m just a brat after all ...” I turned back into a wolf, and my red eyes were the only thing he saw before I broke his skull with a paw. Back to normal, I recovered my family's bodies, placed them on the edge of a bank of the river near my house, and cried over their bodies. Now I was alone.

I don't know how much time passed before I felt a caress on my cheek. I looked up and met six pairs of eyes smiling and greeting me.

My mother approached me and hugged me, “Don’t be sad baby, you are strong and even if we are no longer with you, we will always be watching over you and to protect you.”

In the chorus, my family said, “We love you!” Then their spirits disappeared into the river, leaving me alone in the darkness of that night.
