Chapter seventeen

Alpha's POV

"How are you today?" That word dropped down my lip immediately I made way to her room.

Akira, whose head was bowed, have her head raised and she looked right into my face as if she would devour me.

I know the meaning of that facial expression. I scoff immediately and used my index finger to clean my lip getting infuriated by her, but I manage to control myself.

"Why the long face?…. Akira!" I put it to her face and i require her to answer immediately.

With a devastating look she said, "Sire… what are the questions for?"

Her voice so tiny, but the penetration of her words into my ear was heavy. I let out the air in my gut and looked at her fiercely. "Why do you resent me?" I inquired to know the reason behind her actions.

She looked at me and chuckle, but she didn't say anything.

"Hum… if you resent me this much, I don't think getting out of here would be soon," I intentionally make this known to her so that she could understand the gravity of her action.

"I am not scared o
