I skipped breakfast the next morning after grabbing all of the things needed for my plan.

Theodore and I barely spoke at the party last night after the announcement.

I was still pissed about how he appointed Briar as the operations manager.

I parked my bike and sat through my classes.

Seeing Vianne panic last light didn’t feel good.

After I deal with Ricky, I am going to ask her if we could finally go public about our relationship and ask her to be my girlfriend again.

I managed to sit through all of my classes.

As soon as the last bell rang, I rushed out of class and walked over to my bike.

I spotted Vincent also heading towards his car as I put on my helmet. “Hey.”

He tilted his head towards me. “What’s good?”

I hopped on the bike. “Why did you leave so abruptly yesterday without saying goodbye?”

He pulled the door to his car open. “Something urgent came up.”

“Okay,” I simply said then kick-started the bike and drove out of school.
