Bella's POV
When I opened my eyes the following morning, I saw Daniel sleeping on the couch. I watched him. He looked so handsome. His long eyelashes, his alluring lips, his prominent jawline.
I shook my head.
Get a grip, Bella.
"Oh, you are awake." My mother said in a low voice as she walked in, closing the door behind her.
"Yeah." I said in low voice, trying not to wake up Daniel.
"How are you?" She asked softly, stroking my hair affectionately.
"Fine." I said, giving her a reassuring smile.
I looked at Daniel who was still sleeping peacefully.
"He didn't leave your side for a second while you were sleeping. He didn't eat or sleep all night." My mother informed. "He must have fallen asleep when I went to drink a cup of coffee. Even your father's threats didn't make him leave." She chuckled.
