I woke up with Phoenix already gone; I knew he would be as he had an early patrol and then had some paperwork to do in the office about the rogues that have been entering our territory over the last few weeks, as what happened the day of the picnic spreads. I don't know if anyone has noticed but father seems to be really tired lately.

I hope he is okay. I must remember to ask either him or Mother what's going on. I stretch out my muscles. I guess Phoenix was a little more intense last night than I realised. I smile as I remember the wonderful encounter with him. He has been like a totally different male since the picnic, but still the Phoenix I love.

I get out of bed and go have a shower. Ruth and Cara are fully back now, which is a relief. I was starting to feel really lost without them. I head to the training field for a light workout.
