Ty’s POV
I barely remember boarding the plane—just that the second I sank into my seat, the world slipped away again. Guess cross-continental travel has a sedative effect on dragons too.
By the time I was standing at the local bus stop, surrounded by curious eyes, I could already feel the shift in energy.
People stared.
Some tried not to.
Others? I could practically hear their thoughts undressing me on the spot.
The air reeked of arousal—raw, unfiltered, shameless.
But five years of brutal dragon discipline had scorched any trace of weakness from my system.
No flings. No flirts. No hormone-driven distractions.
Not anymore.
Let them look.
They wouldn’t survive my fire anyway.
I slumped into the final bus, exhausted. Three rides and one jetlagged coma later, my body still ached for a bed.
Then—finally—the trees. My pack’s forest. My land. My blood.
And waiting at the border?
My family.
“BROTHER TY!” a high-pitched squeal exploded across the clearing.
Tyra.
My little sister was a baby when I left, but now she was a leggy, toned, gorgeous 13-year-old with the same wild grin I remembered.
“Come here, Angel,” I grinned and scooped her up like no time had passed. She laughed, breathless as I spun her around. My chest felt tight with joy I didn’t know I had room for.
“Welcome home, son,” Daddy Caius said as he pulled me into a strong, grounding hug. “We missed you like crazy.”
“We’re so damn proud of you, Ty,” Dad Tyson added. “Mastering the hardest dragon powers in half the time? That’s my boy.”
“Must be your and Daddy’s genes,” I teased.
Dad chuckled. “You know that’s not how it works for dragons, kid. That’s all you. You’ve grown into a hell of a man.” Then he leaned closer, voice low and mischievous. “Now help me prank Zoe. I swear I’ll go feral if that woman paints another glitter rune on my tail while I’m asleep.”
I laughed out loud. Yeah... Poor Dad. Being Alpha Stone’s dragon guardian had its cons. Especially when that Alpha was an unstoppable prank queen.
When we walked into the pack house, I nearly collapsed on the spot from the smell—home-cooked heaven. All my favorite dishes lined the table like a welcome parade for my taste buds.
And then I saw him.
That crooked grin. That messy hair. That infuriating sparkle in his eyes.
Jax.
My best friend.
“Holy hell, Jax!” I ran to him and wrapped him in a tight bro hug. “I missed your ugly face.”
He stepped back and poked at my abs. “You were a skinny, four-eyed nerd the last time I saw you. What the fuck happened?”
“I evolved,” I smirked. “Shed my glasses, my bones, and my patience.”
“Yeah well, you look worse,” he shot back.
I lunged at him, and we instantly turned the house into a warzone of laughter and insults.
Then Dad and Daddy walked in mid-racket.
“I told you, Tyson, we should’ve sent Ty to a normal play school,” Daddy groaned. “Look what he’s turned into.”
“Why is it always my fault?!” Dad huffed, then swatted us both on the back.
“Nghhh! Uncle Tyson!” Jax yelped.
“DAD!” I cried.
Before things escalated further, Tyra popped in with a perfect save: “Dinner’s ready! And I made brownies!”
Jax and I bolted for the table like hungry wolves. I barely beat him and snatched the plate like it was a sacred treasure.
“Not again!” Jax wailed. “You brownie thief!”
“You snooze, you lose,” I said smugly, stuffing five into my mouth like a starved beast. “Mmmmf—so good. You want one? Suck my tail.”
“Sharing is caring!” he pouted.
“I’d rather kiss your ass.”
“TY FUCKING JACKSON!” Tyra shrieked, stomping into the dining room. “PUT THOSE BROWNIES DOWN NOW!”
I flinched and dropped the plate like it was cursed.
Damn women. I love them. But thank the skies I’m bi—I need options for survival.
Tyra walked over, cool and smug, placed the brownies right in the middle—and fist-bumped Jax.
Hold up. What?
“You’re siding with him now?” I gaped. “My own sister? Traitor!”
“Who’re you calling evil, you satanic menace?” Jax growled playfully.
“You, obviously. Pussy.”
That led to yet another wrestling match where Jax somehow ended up straddling me and I locked his arms behind his back, growling victoriously.
“Why are you two doing each other in public?!” Daddy gasped from the doorway, dramatically covering his eyes.
“WHAT?! No!” I scrambled back like I’d been slapped by fire. “That’s not—we weren’t—I’m not into him like that!”
“Yeah, same!” Jax barked. “Even if he were the last man on Earth—nope!”
“But what if Ty’s your mate?” Dad teased with a wicked grin, wrapping his arms around Daddy.
Jax smirked. “Guess we’ll find out tomorrow.”
Tyra gasped. “Your 19th birthday’s tomorrow?”
“Yep. That’s when Alpha wolves start sniffing out their mates,” Jax said, staring at me a little too long.
“Wait, I thought wolves found mates at 18,” she asked.
Jax nodded. “Normally, yeah. But Aunt Nyssa said some of us are bound by prophecy. We’ll know at 19.”
“Let me make one thing clear,” I said, glaring at Jax. “This dog is not my mate. I can’t smell anything remotely attractive from him.”
“Permission to kill, Uncle Tyson?” Jax growled, eyes glinting.
“Granted,” Dad said too fast.
I shot him a glare. “I’m your only son!”
“Exactly. I’ve suffered enough.”
“Horrible father.”
“Proud of it.”
“I’ll help Alpha Stone prank you next.”
“Horrible son.”
“Also proud.”
“I hate you.”
“Mutual.”
“STOP IT!” Daddy finally exploded. “Food’s getting cold. Ty’s tired. Sit your asses down!”
We all quieted like scolded pups.
Later, Jax nudged me with a rare softness in his eyes.
“I missed you, brother.”
“Me too, dog,” I smirked.
But my heart whispered something else entirely.
It whispered how good it felt to be home.
Even with the chaos.
Even with the unresolved storm waiting around the corner.
15 years later ….Third Person POV“Where is Uncle Jax, Dad ?” Xel asked Ty.“He hasn’t arrived yet, dear. Why don’t you go out and hang out with your friends ?” he gently suggested.“But what if Uncle Jax comes when I am out playing,” the cute dragon girl pouted.“I will call you, princess when he comes,” Ty chuckled at his adorably beautiful daughter and kissed her on the forehead before going to his mate’s office.“Ok Dad !” Xel chirped and jumped out of the library window to secretly dance like her Dy along the rocky beach. As soon as the stealthy teenager’s feet touched the ground, she noticed frequent rings of smoke disappear in circles round the corner.Who’s out there puffing a cig so heavily, Xel thought and crept slowly round the corner only to bump into a shocked Jax !“WHAT ARE YOU DOING HERE ?” they both asked at the same time.“YOU FIRST,” they both answered at the same time too.“NO YOU,” they both chimed.“What the fuck, Xel. Why the hell are you creeping around here ?
Kai’s POV“WHAT THE FUCK, TY JACKSON ?” I hollered in fury as I watched him snatch the papers from me and fling them behind him.“Stop working like shit, Alpha,” he growled back.I glared at him but I chose to stay silent and started working on my other set of paper work coz I was so fucking loaded with them and had been working like shit as Ty had described since I gave birth to my beautiful baby girl.I wanted to forget the pain Jax was going through and although I had been having sleepless nights because my extra active baby won’t stop crying maybe because Jax wasn’t here, yet I tried my best to keep up with my Alpha duties and totally immersed myself in them during day time.“What the hell, Ty ?” I roared again when I watched him snatch my documents again and sadly, they met with the same fate as the previous ones.“Don’t you dare give me the silent treatment, Kai Stone and stop drowning yourself with Alpha duties when Ingrid clearly said that you needed rest after giving birth !”
PREVIOUSLY:The Vision“Why don’t you stay with your mate and live with us ?”“I can’t. I will claim her when she comes of age. I want her to feel the attraction and power of the mate bond herself”“She will have her own male friends or boyfriends too. How will you deal with that ?” “I am going to take up foreign consignments so that she can have a normal childhood without my overbearing jealousy and possessiveness coming in the way”“You can’t leave everything behind ! What about us ? What about your mate ?”“It would be better for the sake of all of us including my wolf. I don’t want to ruin her childhood by marking her if I lose control to my wolf”“Nothing like that will happen ! I am sure that your wolf will help the both of you”“No brother, my wolf and I can’t promise that”“I will only let you go if you promise me that you will visit us at least twice in a year”“I promise, Alpha”“We will miss you”“I already feel home sick”“Then don’t go”“Please don’t make this difficult,
2 months later ….Jax’s POV“Baby, just relax. Take deep breaths. You will be fine,” Ty tried to calm down my hysterical brother who was going into labour and he was presently crying his lungs out in the middle of the living room.“I AM IN SO MUCH PAIN,” Kai cried hysterically. He had been in a lot of pain for the last three months and I am sure he was not going to carry another pup after the trauma he went through.“Baby, just breathe along with me, ok ? Just the way we practiced before,” Ty calmly said while holding Kai’s hand.Tears started streaming his face and by the time we reached Ingrid’s room, he was writhing in pain on the bed with the most hysterical sobs I had ever heard.“Ty ! Jax ! Please don’t leave me alone,” Kai whimpered while clutching our hands so hard as if his life depended on it.“Baby, it’s fine. Shshhhhhh. We are here only. Dad Victor is fetching Ingrid,” Ty cooed but it seemed like Kai’s mind had gone beyond overdrive and he was now writhing on the sheets ag
Kai’s POV“.… Uncle Jax and his wolf will pamper you so much that you will forget your Dads,” Jax whispered excitedly near my tummy and I continued watching him speak to the unborn pup without letting him know that I had woken up.“.… Uncle Jax will be so much cooler than your daddy that’s for sure. I have no idea how will he manage you when he is incapable of managing himself. You should be glad that I am there to rescue you from that stupid man,” Jax chuckled and soon after he found himself flying off from the bed.“OWWWW WHAT THE BLOODY FUCK, KAI STONE ?” Jax yelled while rubbing his throbbing ass.“WHAT IN THE LORD’S NAME WERE YOU TEACHING MY KID ?” I screamed back.“That I am cooler than you and a better person to take care of the kid,” he growled and got up.He crawled back to the bed and rested his ear back on my stomach.“Where is Ty ?” I asked still pissed off at him.“He is seeing off the Dragon Land’s head doctor. He had come to check on you,” Jax disclosed.“Oh really ?” I
Kai’s POV“Where are we going ?” Jax asked from the back seat as he took in the beautiful scenery moving past us.“Somewhere magical,” Ty replied mysteriously while driving his sleek Lamborghini.“You are so secretive, Ty !” I grumbled.Curiosity is like a poison for us sextuplets. It can kill us if not satisfied soon. It’s that bad.“It will be totally worth it babe,” Ty cooed. “Just hold on tight guys,” he said and suddenly the car took off in air with Jax squealing in delight.“This is so cool motherfuckers,” Jax screamed.“Keep it down asshole,” I said but I was feeling too excited myself.“Ok guys. There is just one warning that you need to pay attention to otherwise the consequences can be as bad as torture and death,” Ty said. “Do not, I repeat, DO NOT DISRESPECT ANYONE HERE,” he stressed. “If anyone says or does anything nasty to you just stay mum and the person will be punished according to his crime by the magical laws of the Dragon Land,” he explained.“Ok Sir !” we brother
