DEMON ALPHA'S MATE

It was dark and creepy here in the woods at night, in our lycan town known as York-High. My mom and dad found me in my room reading my favorite novels made for kids and then, they decided I join them to come check the woods. Well, am just 8 years old, and according to our culture, a child below the age of 10 was banned from entering the woods, but when I reminded my Dad about that, he only smiled and promised to protect me, and so, I joined In.

It was fun walking with them in the woods tonight. I was little, so I knew nothing about fancy dresses, I only wore a long big gown and a pair of slippers. Although it was dark in here, I was happy I was with them, my lovely parents.

"Mum, look at that." I said, as I saw a bird hanging on the tree.

My mom smiled, but didn't say a word. I saw tears gathering in her eyes and I wondered why. Was she scared that I might get injured? I asked myself as I noticed she rapidly cleaned the tears off as they dropped on her cheeks.

"Mum. Are you okay?" I asked and my Dad whispered some words too her before turning too me and what he only did was too knod his head twice which got me more perplexed.

Something strange was going on. I was a kid, but I had this gift of awareness, and whenever my instincts reveals somethings, it always becomes true. I was sure something was wrong with both my parents, but I was just a kid, so I didn't bother much.

I jumped and played in happiness as I touched the flowers while walking past them. I kept on walking and walking, admiring beautiful flowers as they absorbed the beauty of the moon. But then, I realized, something was missing behind me. I quickly turned around, and saw that my father and mother were far away from me and I became afraid.

"Mom! Dad! What are you doing there?" I shouted at them, thinking they were moving slow.

"Ariana, we are sorry for what we are about too do." My father said and i was confused.

"Dad? What's going on?" I asked.

"Ariana," my mom called out too me.

"Mom. Is everything okay? Why are you both behaving weird?" I asked as I wanted to come closer too them.

"No, don't come close. You are a curse." My dad said and i was confused.

"Mum. What is dad talking about?" I asked, but the next thing I saw was my dad, drawing out a silver sword from the sheath on his back.

"Am sorry Ariana. But this is the only way." My dad said and i wondered, what he was talking about.

But as my dad took two steps forward, lifting his hands up, a heavy wind began to blow and I and my dad were parted by the wind.

"Dad!!" I yelled, hitting my back on the tree and falling on the floor.

The wind continued and my parents were unable to do anything, they screamed and screamed, but they was no one too help me save them.

In the wind, I swear I could see a manly figure, as he moved, his red eyes were fixed on me and after I saw this, the next thing I heard was, the cracking of bones and the huge wind stooped, leaving me on the floor, weak.

I raised my head too check on my parents, but I saw them, lying on the floor as non of them could get up nor say a word. I looked at my right, and I saw a man, a mysterious man I would say, staring at me. His eyes were red, deeply red that I thought he was the devil. He was without clothings, standing naked in front of me, and i began too cry the moment I saw his bloody claws.

"Who are you. Please don't kill me." I begged, thinking he would help me, since I was just a kid, but what I got instead, was a snarl and huge scratch that made me yell, and I blacked out.

I slowly opened my eyes, and the first thing, I saw, was the face of my aunt, staring at me.

"She is awake." My aunt said with anger in her eyes.

I groaned in pain, and managed too sit up, while my aunt left without helping me up. When I was up, I found out that everyone was staring at me, and I couldn't figure out why. I looked below them, and I saw my parents lying on the floor, with lots of butchered markings on their faces and thighs.

"Father!!" I screamed, rushing down to where they were. They were surrounded with white and black candle's. A sacred instrument used for the dead, so I heard. But why use them on my parents? I didn't bother too ask, as all I could think of was seeing them talk too me.

"Father!! Father!!" I left his place when I noticed he wasn't responding too me. He must be in a deep sleep.

"Mother! Mother please, answer me. Am scared! Mummy please! Answer me!" I began to cry, seeing that my mum has refused to respond too me as well.

At that point, a hand grabbed my shoulders and I turned to see my uncle in tears.

"Do not disturb the dead Ariana. Your parents are no longer living souls, but dead souls. And their souls will journey to the infinities for judgement. May their good works, speak for them." My uncle said.

Immediately I heard this, I was provoked and I stood up, looking at everyone and tightening my fist.

"No! My parents are not dead. They can't be dead!" I said, as everyone kept staring at me in sadness and in anger.

"Shut up you Witch." I heard a voice all of a sudden from behind me and I turned around, it was my aunt

"Aunty?" I said, in fear.

"You think we didn't know, you murdered your parents?" She said and i was surprised.

Me? Murder? How can I murder anyone when my powers are not even unleashed yet? She must be confused.

"Aunty. Am just 8 eight years old, why would I murder anybody? And why my parents. I love them so much." I said, as some tears dropped from my eyes.

"Silence Ariana!!" My uncle said from behind me and I was shrouded in fear.

"You are nothing like us. And you will never be." My aunt said.

"What, but we are family" I said, but my uncle came from behind me and tore my shirt open.

"Is this family?, Is this what you call family?" He asked, showing too me the mark that suddenly appeared on my shoulders.

"What is this?" I asked in fear.

My uncle went backwards a little and stared at me.

"That marks mean. You are not one of the blue pack. You have been cursed and will forever murder your family until the end of your life. You have been marked, by a demon wolf, our sworn enemy. We are no longer safe. And its because of you witch. We will never make peace with those butchers." My uncle said as he drew more closer too me.

"Ariana Romanoff. Daughter of Goldy Romanoff. As the second oldest and next Alpha of this family pack, I hereby deny your rights and freedom in the family. You will never join the pack, and you will serve us for the rest of your miserable life." He said and I swallowed my hot saliva's.

"Let's kill her!. She's of no use too us now. She will kill us." Another said from the pack and I wished my dad was here.

My uncle immediately disagreed with the decision, as he waved his hands countering the members decision.

"She won't have the chance to kill us" my uncle said.

"How?" One of them asked, and my uncle brought out a shiny silver stone.

"Am locking her powers, for good. And for good it will be." My uncle said and the next thing I knew was, my chest was burning, I began feeling weak, and i fell on the floor, while my visions went blur,, I heard one of them rushed at my uncle.

"What should we do with her now?" I heard one of them ask.

"Make her a family slave." The voice of my uncle were bold and clear, and after hearing that, my uncle rushed at me, tore my dress open, not minding how little I was, and then, he pushed the red hot stone deep into my chest and I yelled as my body felt this horrible pain.
