Delilah

Farrell's voice echoed close to me, rich and soothing, tugging at my consciousness. His familiar scent filled my nostrils, and I could feel the ghost of his touch on my skin. It had to be a dream, I was certain of it. As I called out to him, his sweet, comforting words answered back.

My entire body yearned for him. The kisses that landed softly on my face felt so real that, for a fleeting moment, I doubted my reality. Could it be that I wasn’t dreaming? No, it had to be. It was too perfect to be real.

“I love you, Farrell,” I murmured, half-lost in my sleep. Even though I couldn’t see him, his presence surrounded me, his scent intoxicating. But why? Why now? The man I thought was mine had been cruelly taken from me by my best friend, no less. And yet, here he was, haunting my dreams while living a reality with her.

Then, his voice broke through, startlingly clear. “Forgive me, my love. I didn’t know you were my destined mate.”

My eyes snapped open. I blinked, my vision

Maxwell's POV. How is that even possible? She can read my mind? This is unbelievable. What is she? One thing’s for sure…I’m relieved nothing happened between those two. The thought of it made my heart swell with unexpected joy. I had worried over nothing. She doesn’t want him. That much is clear. She could have killed him if I hadn’t stepped in. She despises him. This can only mean one thing: she will reject him in the end. And I will make sure of it. I stormed into my bedroom, discarding my clothes hastily before stepping into the shower. The rush of water calmed my frayed nerves, and once I was dressed and refreshed, I stepped out. My guards greeted me with respectful nods, which I returned absentmindedly. As I entered my office, I reached out to my Gamma, Zod, through the mind-link. His response was immediate. “What’s the situation at the borders?” I asked, my tone firm. “Your Majesty, the borders are secure now,” Zod reported. “But the damages to the Red Moon Pack and the P

Farrell Ever since I returned to the pack, my mind has been a storm, a chaos I can’t silence. What happened today? I felt it, the spark, the bond. And Cane? He felt it too. The way he howled inside me, the way he surged forward… it was too raw, too magical to ignore. But then there was her scent…jasmine, delicate and pure, mingled with a hint of lavender. It was intoxicating, utterly addictive. I could still feel it clinging to my skin, wrapping around me, pulling me closer to insanity. But how? How is this even possible? I already have a mate. Sandra is supposed to be my one and only, the Luna of this pack, my queen. And now this? Another mate? Delilah? I raked my hands through my hair, the weight of it all crushing me. I know it’s not uncommon for one female to have more than one mate, but two mates for an Alpha? That’s unheard of. It defies everything I thought I knew, every law of nature. How could Delilah, my sweet, selfless human wife, still be bound to me, yet the

Delilah Walking through the bustling grounds of the Shadow Claws Pack with Rosa, For the first time in what felt like forever, I felt alive, my heavy heart momentarily forgotten. The entire territory thrummed with vitality, like a city that never truly rested, its people and places moving in perfect sync. The palace itself loomed in the distance, a structure so tall, so grand it could intimidate anyone unfamiliar with its intricate beauty. Upon returning to its shadowed halls, Rosa eagerly led me on a tour of the office buildings flanking the royal quarters. Her enthusiasm was contagious, though my focus wavered when a peculiar sensation began to stir within me. As we walked. Eyes were on me. The Lycan males and females who works in the office building turned around to look at me. I know that they might have questions for Rosa. But she didn't give them any audience. A voice…low, unfamiliar…whispered in my mind, faint yet distinct. I paused, startled. Where was it coming from? How

Maxwell When Anna called to say she had arrived at the palace, my heart raced with fear for the first time in my life. Fear…something I had never experienced before. I am the Alpha King, feared and revered by all, yet this small tremor inside me was foreign and unsettling. Among all the women I had been with, Anna was the one I had truly considered as a potential queen. I had even thought about making her my mate. But everything changed when I met Delilah, my true mate. She consumed my every thought, making me forget all else. Including Anna. And now, standing on the precipice of an unavoidable confrontation, I felt like I was spiraling into chaos. Anna stormed into my bedroom, her beauty as striking as I remembered. But my heart no longer raced for her…it beat solely for Delilah now. “What do you mean I should go back?” Anna's voice was sharp, her anger unmistakable. “You can’t just walk into my palace without informing me,” I replied, striving to keep my composure. Maxwell “I’m on my way. What happened?” I linked to my Beta as I stormed out of the palace. “We’re under attack at the Eastern border,” he said, his tone strained. “Some powerful creatures.” “I’m coming.” I severed the link, my pulse quickening. Zion, my wolf, growled in the back of my mind, his bloodlust igniting like wildfire. He was ready for the kill. I smirked. “Not yet, Zion. Not yet,” I muttered, gripping the wheel as I sped off. My beast was dangerously impatient, and it had taken years to tame him. If I wasn’t fast enough to act, he’d gladly take over, and when he did, it wasn’t pretty. The drive was a blur. In minutes, I arrived at the border. Chaos had taken over. The scent of blood and the clash of claws filled the air. My warriors fought ferociously, but the enemy, a pack of towering Lycans…was overwhelming. These weren’t from around here. I stepped out of the car and scanned the battlefield. Amid the chaos, I spotted Cross locked in a brutal fight with a Lycan who

Maxwell “This is just the beginning of our attack on your pack, King Maxwell. Release her, and peace will return to your kingdom.” His voice rang like a warning bell, echoing in the silence of the basement. My sister’s words flooded back to me…her warnings, her prophecy. Protect your mate, Maxwell. Challenges will come, but you must remain steadfast. Is this it? The moment she foresaw? I clenched my fists, my wolf, Zion, clawing at my control. The man before me dared to call my mate theirs. The sheer audacity made my blood boil. My vision tinged red, and I could almost feel my hands wrapping around his throat, snapping his neck. But I held back. Not yet. Not here. Without a word, I turned on my heel and left the basement, my steps eerily quiet despite the storm raging inside me. The faint sound of footsteps followed. I didn’t need to turn to know it was Cross. His scent was unmistakable…loyalty and concern wrapped in one. But I wasn’t in the mood for his probing questions. He

And I’ll do whatever it takes to protect you.” With those words, I leaned down, sealing her fate…and mine…with a deep, soul-binding kiss. The passion between us was electric, and her response left me stunned. Even in her fragile state, she matched my hunger, her lips speaking a silent confession of desire that mirrored my own. Pulling back just enough to breathe, I stripped away the barrier of my clothes, leaving nothing between us. Slowly, reverently, I helped her out of her delicate nightwear. The sight of her took my breath away. She was flawless, a vision of perfection that ignited something primal deep inside me. My predatory gaze roamed over her, my wolf clawing at the edges of my control, desperate to claim her. But I wouldn’t let it. She was delicate, and tonight, I needed to be gentle. Maxwell The realization struck me like a bolt of lightning. My entire world tilted on its axis as I stared into her glowing, otherworldly eyes. The raw energy radiating from her wasn’t just adrenaline or passion…it was something ancient, untamed, and fierce. She wasn’t fragile, as I had foolishly assumed. She was a force of nature, a storm personified. My hands cupped her face with possessive need, my fingers trembling with restraint as I gazed at her. Every fiber of me wanted to claim her in that moment, but I knew there was a conversation we had to have first. My sister’s cryptic words echoed in my mind, now making perfect sense. Her eyes searched mine, filled with questions she didn’t voice. I closed my eyes for a moment, steadying the chaos swirling within me, before I opened them and met her gaze. “You’re a Lycan, Delilah,” I said, my voice low and steady. Delilah The morning came slowly. The sky was still gray when I opened my eyes. I hadn't really slept. All night, I stayed by my mother’s side, watching her sleep. I watched how her chest rose and fell with each breath. Maybe… maybe I was just scared. Scared to lose her again. The pain of losing her once almost destroyed me, especially when I was told that her brother was responsible for her death. I couldn't bear it happening a second time. But now… Now she was here. She was alive. The Moon Goddess had brought her back to me. Tears welled up in my eyes as I reached out and gently brushed her hair away from her face. She looked so peaceful… so fragile… but alive. I whispered a prayer of thanks under my breath. Aunt Kala entered quietly, carrying a wooden tray filled with a small bowl of porridge and a cup of steaming herbal drink. "Good morning, child," she said softly, giving me a warm smile. "Good morning, Aunt Kala," I whispered back. She placed the tray on the sm

Maxwell "Mama... Mama... please come back." That was all they kept saying. Over and over again, all through the night. I couldn’t sleep. They refused to sleep too. They cried and cried, calling for their mother. I was so helpless. I didn’t know what to do anymore. "They need her… They miss her so much…" I whispered to myself, rubbing my tired face.Their tiny voices broke my heart. It was not just them. I was suffering too. Without Delilah, I was only half a man. I couldn’t eat properly. I couldn’t think straight. I couldn’t even lead my people the way I should. Last night, something happened. Beka and Amanok opened another portal. This time, it was clearer, brighter than before. And there… standing in the light… was Delilah. She looked so beautiful, yet so tired. I wanted to reach out and touch her, hold her, tell her how much I missed her. But I couldn’t. Because just then, the pups cried louder, calling for her. I saw the way her face softened when she heard them. I knew s

  • DESTINED TO BE QUEEN: LYCAN KING UNEXPECTED MATE    111. REUNION

Delilah The sky outside the cave was beginning to darken. The sun was slipping behind the hills, painting the clouds with the colours of pink and gold. I stayed close to my mother, gently holding her hand as we walked through the woods. Aunt Kala stayed by her other side, ready to catch her, if she stumbled. Each of her steps was slow, Each of the breaths she took was shallow. It hurt me to see her like this, fragile and tired. However, at the same time, I am happy that my mother is alive. And she was finally here with me. We didn't speak much as we moved towards a small cottage, hidden deep, in the forest. Aunt Kala had prepared it long ago, hoping that one day, this day would come. It was a quiet place, surrounded by wildflowers and grass, a place of peace. Inside the cottage, the air smelled fresh herbs and burning wood. Aunt Kala quickly made a bed by the burning fire and helped my mother lie down carefully. She pulled a soft blanket over her. I sat down on the floor, next

Delilah As I walked out of the temple. I knew that I was no longer the woman I used to be. But it is my destiny Aunt Kala sat down under a huge tree. She looked like someone in deep thought. “I am back.” I said. She felt startled. But quickly got up and straightened her robe. “Delilah, you're back.” She said with a cheerful smile. “Yes, I am back. And we need a lot to do. Can we proceed” I said, and she nodded. The air was cold as we walked through the quiet woods and Aunt Kala walked beside me without saying a word. Even the trees around us seem to know that something important was about to happen. There are branches really slowly, whispering secrets. I couldn’t understand the ground was soft with fallen leaves, and each step I took felt easier than the last. My heart beats loudly in my chest. I could feel it echoing in my ears. I was about to see my mother. The woman I had had so many stories about, but never truly knew she had been asleep for more than 20 years. As we

Delilah The air was quiet as we walked. But inside me, something powerful stirred, making me feel stronger with every step. Slowly, I began to understand who I truly was. All my questions were finally being answered. The words I had heard earlier repeated in my mind: “You are not just a werewolf. And you are not just a Lycan. You are both. You are the first of your kind. The one born to bring peace.” “You are the first of your kind.” These words echoed in my head over and over. With each step, it felt like the earth was guiding me, leading me to where I needed to go. Aunt Kala walked beside me, silent. She didn’t speak, but I could tell she sensed the change in me. After walking through the forest for a while, I turned to her. “Aunt Kala,” I said softly. “Where is the Ancient Temple? How do we find it?” She smiled gently. “You don’t need to find the temple, Delilah. The temple will find you,” Her eyes moved to the golden key in my hand. “This key led you here. I’

Delilah The priestess’s eyes began to glow, slowly turning into a solid, milky white color. It looked as if she wasn’t herself anymore, like something ancient and powerful had entered her body. A strange wind moved through the room, even though there were no windows open. My heart beat faster as I watched her, and for a moment, I wondered if I should be afraid. But deep down, I knew this was all part of something important. Something meant for me. She stopped chanting, and then the glowing glass on the mat began to change. What once looked like a swirling liquid became something more…something magical. It shifted into a moving picture, almost like a story playing out right in front of me. My breath caught in my throat. In the glowing circle, I saw two powerful figures standing face to face. Their presence made the ground beneath me feel unsteady. A strong, invisible energy filled the room, and I could feel goosebumps rising all over my arms. My skin tingled, and I couldn’t move or

Delilah I walked out of the room with Aunt Kala by my side. Two maids standing nearby quickly bowed their heads low. “Your Majesty,” they both greeted with soft voices. I nodded quietly. I still wasn’t used to people calling me that. It felt strange… heavy, like a title I hadn’t earned yet. But there was no time to think too deeply about it. We kept walking. The place around me was peaceful, like a silent dream. The buildings were very old, made with stones and vines, but still looked strong and beautiful. Every wall had some kind of glowing symbol on it. I didn’t understand them yet, but they didn’t scare me. Instead, they made me feel… like I belonged. The trees swayed gently above our heads. At first, I thought they were fake because they were so perfectly shaped, but they were real. I could tell from the way the leaves rustled in the breeze and the scent of fresh bark in the air. I started to notice something odd. Everyone here was female. They were either dressed in soft f

And you never told me? How could you hide something so big from me?” My voice rose with each word. I couldn’t stop the anger building inside me. Kala stepped closer, her eyes full of guilt. “Delilah,” she said gently, “I know I made many mistakes. I know I should have told you earlier. But everything I did... I did it for you. I did it to protect you.” I folded my arms tightly. “You kept me in the dark. You made me feel like I had no one in this world. Not even once? Do you have any idea how that makes me feel?” The tears I had tried so hard to hold back finally burst free. I couldn’t stop them now. They poured down my cheeks like rain, soaking into the golden robe I wore. “All these years,” I whispered again, choking on my words, “I lived like I had no one. I thought I had no family. I thought I was just some orphan that no one wanted. Do you even understand what that feels like?” I couldn’t look at her anymore. I turned my back and faced the wall. I wrapped my arms around myself, trying to stay strong, but my heart was breaking all over again. She was my family. All this time. And I n
