"Oh please, stop with the attraction this and chemistry that! She is now your son's lawfully wedded wife and you can't do nothing about it! Listen to me Reymond for the sake of peace, you need to let this go! Please" Amara who was Reymond's sister advised.

On the other end, Jesse had the worst wedding night of her life. The simple fact that she got to find out that her so called once lost dream charming man was actually her new father in-law was like a slap in the face. All these years, she never for once stopped loving him but looking at how things were, she felt the need to move on and have her own family. At 28, she had come of age to get married. Trey loved her as well as her fatherless little son who had no father... Jesse never cared how her son was conceived. she just loved him.

"Jesse, you have been in the bathroom for so long, are you sure you are okay?" In the heat of the moment as Jesse was in deep thought, Trey called out for her as she was in the bathroom. She looked at her night dress and laughed at herself...

Her face full of tears,with a helpless facial expression. She just felt like ending her life would quickly quiet-down the situation.

"No, no" Jesse shook of the suicidal thoughts that came to her mind and decided to face the situation head-on.

"Damn it! She cursed, "How could I have missed out an important detail such as knowing my partners father! How could I not tell that they were father and son? Oh no! What have I done! What the hell have I gotten myself into?"Jesse patted her head a few times, wondering how she could have missed out such a detail.

She thought of her little son again who now calls Trey "Dad". Jesse shook off all these thoughts and decided to wash her face, took a deep breath to try and calm down her emotions which were in turmoil at this point.

Before she could do anything, the door was pushed open and Trey walked in with a smile on his face, "how long do you want to keep me waiting?" He said this as he wrapped his arms around Jesse's waist.

Jesse felt shivers go down her spine, and smiled dryly. It was the worst smile as she literally forced it out. She looked at Trey's reflection in the mirror, he had the perfect looks but he looked nothing like his father. So charming, tall, lovely skin tone with a slight beard which made him seem a little mature than his age. Trey noticed how stiff Jesse was and took a step backwards.

Jesse was in deep thought which only made Trey feel a little uncomfortable.

"Hey, Jesse, are you sure you are okay?" Trey asked this woman who was now his wife.

Jesse smiled and nodded then turned and walked out. Trey looked at Jesse back which rather seemed lonely.

He chased after her in a bid to cheer her up and hugged her from behind.

Jesse chuckled, "Trey, please stop being naughty.... don't worry about me, I am fine...it's just that I am tired and I have a bad headache which is only affecting my mood" Jesse explained patiently not wanting to make Trey suspicious of anything. Trey sighed helplessly and walked out of the room...He felt like he would rather not disturb his wife.

Jesse laid down facing the ceiling, this was not what she planned for. She thought her marriage with Trey would be smooth but looking at what just happened, Jesse had no idea about what her future had in stock for her.

Despite being a billionaire's daughter, Jesse only wanted true love, a genuine type of relationship. She yearned for true happiness and nothing else.

Reymond came into her life just at the time Jesse was desperate for love. She knew the guys around her only wanted her for money and nothing else. But Reymond seemed to have been different at the time. Jesse began to reminisce about her past.

She had all the looks needed in a woman but the guys she met just couldn't let go of the fact that she was a billionaires daughter. With her long off black hair, brown beautiful beed-like eyes and slender body shape, she was every man's dream. She lived her life in wonder, deliberating if she will ever find a man who would love her not because of her father's money but loving her for who she truly was.

Jesse recalled the day she first met Reymond, it was a Sunday morning and she stood on the balcony of her beach house enjoying the cool breeze that the air brought. she was there for some time such that she lost count of time.

"miss, there's a man who has requested to see you" Jesse's maid reported.

"who is he? did he mention to you what he wanted?" Jesse questioned.

the maid silently shook her head in disapproval, "no ma'am, I have no idea. He just asked to see you"

Jesse just waved her arm and walked out to see who was looking for her.

Upon seeing the face of the man, she raised her brow and somewhat had a confused facial expression.

"who are you? and what do you want?"
