LOGINCAROLYN
“Carolyn!…Caro….”
My eyes snapped open, staring at the white ceiling before Janet’s familiar face came into view.
“Hey…” she called again. “Are you awake now?”
I jerked up, but my body was heavy and sore. It took a split second before I remembered what happened yesterday.
I gasped, realizing how reckless I’d been yesterday, my body stained with white merch, my hair tangled, the lace thrown to some corner, and my phone…. Heating up.
I grabbed it first. “12 PM!?” I looked at Janet frantically. “Oh my gosh.”
“The Alphas told me you’re still asleep when I resumed at 9.” She got up to help pick the blown-away lace. “Last night must have been hectic?”
Heat flushed to my face as I remembered every darn stunt I pulled last night. Jesus! I even twerked for them! And Rules!!
“Don’t beat yourself,” Janet chuckled, “It’s normal to do such things with Alphas as hot as them.”
"Janet, I did too much,” I cried, embarrassed. “I even….” Oh gosh! I asked for a second round!! Carolyn, are you mad?
My phone pinged just as Janet was about to answer me. I checked, still in the trance of what I’d done. ‘Deposit of $5,000,000.00 from M. Dynera’
I spaced out for a second. “How did they…” I stopped realizing Janet was still there.
But I rushed to open my bank app. Five million dollars. The figures stared at me, and I felt an unexpected glee and sadness.
This kind of money used to be like an unattainable feast when I was with Flynn. He never let me know the account of how money was being spent. These five million dollars used to be our yearly income, but now all gone into his supposed hidden company.
I swallowed, exited the message app, and checked other messages that arrived consecutively over the past two hours.
‘Where the fuck are you?’
‘Caro!!! Reply to my messages, will you?’
My heart seized. It was Flynn. He’d dropped 12+ messages, but this last one took me off balance. ‘Get back here, I’m ready to send Moana away.’
“You pathetic cheater,” I screeched through my teeth, flinging the phone aside to get cleaned.
I stumbled to the bathroom, catching my reflection. Bruises dotted on my collar-bone and hickeys on my neck, cheeks, and something painful on one side. I pressed on it, the sting making me wince. When I leaned closer to the mirror, I froze.
Teeth marks were clear, neat, and…. Are they even teeth? After asking for round two, I’d lost myself in the lust, unable to tell which was which.
“Oh my God,” My finger trembled against the mark. “What did they do to me!?”
Then, Janet's hum caught my attention. Why is she so relaxed? From the bathroom, I heard Janet humming while she cleaned. How could she be casual about this even after knowing? Are the Alphas regular playboys?
I splashed water on my face. “Get it together, Caro. It's none of your concern.”
When I came out, Janet was folding the stained sheets without a hint of judgment.
‘Do they do this often? I asked before I could stop myself. “You seem too casual..you know?”
She paused. “Of course, no.” Her eyes met mine. “You’re the first human in years.”
I wanted to ask one more question, but she was quick to change the topic. “By the way, are you coming back if you leave now?”
I stopped midway to the bathroom. Will I come back here after all these? Five million dollars is enough to get me a good life that I deserve, perhaps not seeing the alphas again… “maybe.”
~
Janet walked me to the entrance, the morning light harsh after the dim bar.
“You okay?” she asked.
Was I? My body still felt sore. My marriage was over. I had 5 million dollars from werewolf kings. I don’t know what will happen between us next.
“No,” I admitted. “But I will be.”
“Because of the alphas?” she smiled sadly. “They chose you for some reason we don’t know. They don’t talk to human women, but I’m sure you’re special.”
“I really hope to see you again, Car.o” Her voice was tender.
I broke the hug. “If God wishes. Happy New Year in advance.” Then I left, without looking back.
Stopping at the subway station, another message I believed was from Flynn entered, I hissed. “Good to see you beg,” I muttered, the bus arrived.
Today was Boxing Day, and only a few people were inside the bus, but as much as I didn’t want to check whatever Flynn had sent through my protesting thighs and aching pussy, something still pushed me to check.
But at first glance from the notification centre, the sender number doesn’t look anything like Flynns.
My heart thumped suspiciously. I looked around instinctively before clicking the message. ‘You shall definitely come back, Little human. Once ours, is forever ours’ – M.E.H. Dynera.
“No!” I squealed, throwing the phone off. Every eye in the bus was directed at me, but I didn’t mind them. Undeniably, the message is from THEM. My pulse quickened, and with trembling hands, I picked up the phone; another message had dropped. ‘We see you. And you will come for us, if we need you.”
The bus lurched forward. I stared at the message until my vision morphed to last night’s recklessness, but then it blurred to the rejection and hatred from the other werewolves. I shook my head. No. I don’t belong with them; we’re from different worlds.
But as I made this decision, my brain flashed again. I could still feel their hands, mouth, and the way they..
“Miss, you stop!” The driver's voice snapped me back.
I looked up. I’d missed it. Our house... no, Flynn’s house, just three blocks away from the station.
Staring long and hard in the direction, I suddenly hissed. Why should I go back?
“I’ll get down at the last stop.”
I’d go to my brother's old house, not far from the last stop. All through the ride, I wasn’t normal, staring at the messages and struggling to get them out of my head.
“We’re here.”
I got out of the bus with a long stretch, which kind of hurts a little, but I pushed on and passed some alleys before getting to Luther’s street view.
The old house stood exactly as I remembered it. He’d left five years ago, leading eh NASA team to the moon for exploration.
“I’ll be back in two years,” he’d promised. “Keep my house and wait for me. Bro loves you.”
That was three years past his return date.
They said he might not make it back. The rocket hit a massive tornado, and the chance of survival is a little below 1%
Flynn had almost pressured me into selling the house before, and I was planning to do that if there was no sign of Luther till next year.
I reached for the spare key in its usual spot, but my hand froze as I heard voices from inside the house.
“So Miss Linda, we’re buying the house at 1million…”
Ice flooded my veins. Was someone buying Luther’s house? Miss Lida?
The door cracked open before I could react. Two men dressed in suits came out first, then a familiar…
“I was so shocked when NASA said Luther was dead,” The familiar voice sobbed, her back against me. “But as his girlfriend, I can’t let him die in vain. I’ll donate the money to charity as soon as you pay…”
That voice… this body… I couldn’t contain my curiosity; I lurched forward to tap her, making her turn.
A blast of shock hit my chest. Immediately, our eyes met. This woman doesn’t look like who I used to know she was… this one.. “Mo..Moana?”
CAROLYN“Carolyn!…Caro….”My eyes snapped open, staring at the white ceiling before Janet’s familiar face came into view.“Hey…” she called again. “Are you awake now?”I jerked up, but my body was heavy and sore. CAROLYN“Wait…” I blinked. “What? F..Five million to fuck you three or…?” Meshack shrugged. “Don't be surprised, we're loaded,” he reached for his pocket and fetched a small card. I slowly took it from him, checked the portfolio— the first thing I saw threw me off balance. “You…you're the chairman of Dynera Firm?” “Is that below your standard?” Now I should be scared of them. The company Flynn was working for as the general manager, was Dynera Firm, and we had plans that after the new year, he'd take me to meet the owner and the CEO. The card slipped from my hand. “I… I'm sorry I didn't recognize” No. Why should I tell them I was married? “I mean… not too bad for a werewolf king.”Eden laughed softly. “He's actually had the lowest Networth amongst us…but we shall talk about that later.” He pulled me to my feet. My heart was beating crazily fast and furious, but no. I'd promised to make this a detty December and messy Christmas night. Nothing is stopping that. The other girls' h
CAROLYN“Stop there," A short brunette blocked my path. "You can't come in dressed like that.."I frowned. “What's wrong with what I'm wearing?"She pulled two scraps of what seems to be lingeries “Change into this.”I took it with confusion. "Why should I...""You want to survive here?” She raised the corner of her lips, "Dress like a predator, not a prayer boo.” I shrugged and moved to the adjacent room. A minute later, I was changed from the covered-up blouse and long skirt to the white lingerie that packed my breasts tightly and revealed my not-too-curvy shape.I stared at my reflection. The white lace barely covered anything — my breast pushed up, my curves on full display, and my ass practically bare. I'd spent years hiding under conservative clothes, trying to be the best wife. I'd even brought Mrs Santa lingerie to surprise Flynn tonight, but he'd rather see it on Moana. My jaw tightened. Well, fuck his preference.I didn't just feel beautiful. I felt dangerous and reckles
CAROLYNI wasn't prepared for the sight I just witnessed. Moana was straddling my husband, and he was moaning her name like prayer while dressed like a cheap bartender. Her smirk hit me before her words did. “Guess you should have come home earlier or later.” My chest tightened as I watched the shameless Flynn scramble off the bed and tug up his pants with shaky hands.“Caro...wait, this isn't...." Flynn began, stammering. "I don't know how she seduced..." He paused as my hard, stoic glare pierced his lies."Seduced, huh?" Moana crossed her legs like the queen of the sea. "He begged for this, Carolyn. Asked me to wear your things and everything." "Moana shut...." Flynn hissed. For a split moment, his eyes met mine, and I saw it— shame, regret, and that tenderly innocent look that made me fall in love with him. But it only lasted for a second. The cheater mask slipped back. A sad smile tugged at my lips. I should have known — players don't change, they just get better at hiding i
