TWENTY-ONE

Magnus had his head on Valentine's chest, both of them cuddled up and unclad beneath Valentine's duvet. They had been there for a while, simply enjoying their presence and silence, until Magnus decided to break it off. "How is he?" he had asked Valentine, who quickly picked on, then sighing. 

"Not that good, honestly," Valentine replied Magnus. "Even though he keeps on saying he's fine, whenever I ask him, he still acts like he isn't. He doesn't go out anymore, won't pick his calls or reply to any messages. He looks like a person who isn't taken care of, in any way." He sighed. "He also won't talk about what happened."
