Chapter XXIV

Jimmy was sitting in the dark dungeon, his face hidden between his knees. If he was scared months ago when he was jailed in Taegen's castle, this time he was terrified.

This castle was nothing welcoming. The interior was dark, only small candles lit up the corridors. There was a horrible smell of mould, proof that it wasn't being taken care of.

The creatures inside were terrifying. The majority resembled the one he attacked in the forest the other day.

Jimmy stared at the bars and sighed, remembering what the Prince told him earlier.

“What do you want from me?” he asked.

Adalis sat on his throne and smirked, “There are two things that I want from you.”

Jimmy gulped, “What are they?”

“First of all, my brother's unhappiness,” the Prince said. “Oh, you don't know how much I cannot stand seeing him smiling.”
