Chapter 15

"I need you, Leo."

Isabella didn't know what she was speaking, she was not in her senses. She was overwhelmed with all the emotions going on off late. She failed to think straight. Her mind simply refused to think anything.

"I'm right here, Bella. I’m with you." Leo cupped her face lovingly.

She also snuggled into the warmth his touch provided. “Why, Leo?” She cried out loudly. “Why did you leave me when I needed you the most? How could you do that to me?” Her voice was shaky. It seemed it required all the strength in her to voice out those words.

He was still cupping her face, letting her cry. He was waiting for her to let it all out, whatever she was holding inside. She looked directly into his eyes as if trying to find some answer, some sort of truth. But she failed to find anything. There was no regret for his actions, nothing.
