Ava's POV

“This is so exciting!” I told Mia while we were on one of our adventures. “I can't wait to see what the future holds.”

“You’re right Ava,” Mia agreed. “And I've also learned so much about myself here.”

I beamed at her. “Me too. I've also learned so much about the world around me! The Shadow Clan treats me like one of their own. The bonds that we formed during our time here are unbreakable! And the memories we've made will stay with me forever!”

During one particular mission, we were sailing towards a small island to retrieve a precious artifact.

“The weather here is rough and the waves are high, Captain. What are we going to do?” one of the sailors asked Captain James but William interrupted:
