William's POV

Later that day, as the sun began to set over the water, I decided to take a stroll on the beach. As I walked along the sand, my thoughts were consumed by the events of the past few days.

I noticed Ava sitting on a bench by the shore, her eyes fixed on the horizon. I took a seat next to her.

"It's a beautiful night, isn't it?" I said, breaking the silence

Ava turned to face me, a smile on her face. "Yes, it is."

As we sat there in silence, I couldn't help but feel drawn to Ava. She was so kind, so understanding, and so compassionate. I had to explain and sort things out with her personally.

"Ava, would you like to take a walk with me on the beach?"

Ava looked at me, her eyes wide with surprise. For a moment, I thought she was going to reject my offer but then she smiled.

"I think I'd like that!”

As we walked along the shore, I felt a sense of peace and contentment. And as I looked at Ava, her hand in mine, I knew that this was where I belonged.
