Veronica is insane, I know it's cute having a super hot Model as your secret girlfriend, but this is clearly not a reason for her to stand me up on a date for the third time this week!

And I've been calling her nonstop and she's not even answering her call.

I sighed and paid for the food and went back home. I went to her house first and clearly she wasn't around.

I sighed.

I don't even know what I was thinking trying to be the man of her dreams, she's clearly way above my league, that's probably why she doesn't put effort into anything that concerns us.

I started heading out when I heard her phone ring.

That's funny I thought she wasn't around

The phone rang three times and I went to pick it up on the fourth.

"Veronica Starfox, how may we help you?".

"Is Veronica home? tell her I'm outside her house waiting for her", I deep masculine voice spoke.

"I apologize but apparently she's not home".

"I thought I was supposed to pick her up by 9? you know what thank you, if she comes back please let her know I called ".

"I will, and you are?"

"Her Fiancee, Sebastian ".

I paused for like 20 seconds.

"Huh?"

"Her Fiancee, Future husband, man whatever she'll know that ".

I almost laughed, this has got to be some sick joke.

"I'm sorry did you just say Veronica is your Fiancee? clearly this has to be some mistake ",I said already loosing my shits.

"What are you talking about?"

"I'm Veronica's boyfriend!", I announced.

He chuckled, " Man what the fuck are you talking about?".

"Are you still outside?", I asked.

"Yes I am".

I went downstairs and unlocked the door.

There was a tall 6'2 guy with short brown hair, he looked all dressed up like he was going for a date.

He had this piercing blue eyes and a chiseled jawline, well crafted by god himself.

"Hi", I said.

"Hello", he responded.

"So what do you mean by you're Veronica's boyfriend? I'm so confused", he said coming into the house.

I shut the door.

"We've been dating for the past 2 years",I said

"We've been dating for the past 8 months, and I was actually thinking this one was leading to marriage", he chuckled nervously.

"So she was playing us both?", he asked

"I mean I'm not even surprised here, she probably has some other boyfriends or husband's that neither of us is aware of", I joked.

He laughed, "I wouldn't even be surprised to find out She had a secret family", he added.

We laughed.

"Dude we've both been played", I stated after a few seconds of silence.

"I mean clearly", he said and we started laughing again.

"Women, I might as well go celibate and become a reverend father honestly", he said.

"Way ahead of you", I said.

The door immediately flew open and Veronica walked in with a man behind her.

She looked so shocked to see us

"Uhm.... Sebastian.... Asher.... what are you two doing here?", she asked nervously unlocking her hand with that man.

"Oh you know, you stood me up on our date and I got back to check up on you and, apparently your other date was here waiting for you ", I said.

She chuckled nervously

"What are you... what are you talking about? what date?".

",Who is he?", he man behind her asked.

"Oh it's just my body guard", she said grinning nervously.

"Veronica what is going on?", Sebastian asked.

"I...I ..I can explain -"

"Who the fuck are you two and what is going on?", the guy behind her asked.

"I'm Sebastian, he's-"

"Asher", I said.

"And we are her boyfriends... I'm her supposed fiance actually ".

He turned to her, "Veronica? boyfriend? fiance? we're getting married next weekend!".

I don't know why that suddenly felt so funny to me honestly.

I don't even deserve to be in this conversation because clearly the triangle is between two very rich and wealthy men from the look of things and I'm just a bodyguard.

"So, we're all dating Veronica Starfox", Sebastian announced which was so funny.

"I think we're done here", Sebastian said.

"Wait wait I can explain ok? I love you all, equally, just believe me, we can make this work, we can okay?".

"You're crazy Veronica, we're done, it's over", he said and Left immediately.

"Seb wait, please, please wait", she begged.

"You're going after him? him? so you're actually going after him? Thank God I found out who you truly are , good timing, imagine getting married to a cheat like you, fuck you Veronica, the wedding is off", the other guy said behind and left too.

Veronica started begging him and screaming after him until he left.

She started sobbing.

"I think I also deserve an apology ", I stated.

She turned to me

"You? oh my gosh you're not even supposed to be talking, clearly you were in my life because I needed the extra from you, of course you're sweet and cute but did you really think I was going to settle for you? my body guard? ughh, you even had balls to think I will come for any of those your dates. If you had just shut up and gone home, none of this would have happened and I would have been with my boyfriends, in fact you're fired, take your things and leave ", she announced and barged upstairs pissed.

I sighed, she was right, it was stupid for me to think she would love me, I guess I was just so desperate to be loved I got it all in my head.

I went to my room and spent over an hour packing my things. I feel like I've just been her sex toy and nothing more. I just wished I hasn't fallen for her charm.

When I was done, I called an Uber to come pick me up, it was already getting late and all.

I walked down to the nearest bus top patiently waiting for him to pick me up.

A Tinted black SUV pulled up in front of me.

The glass went down and it was Sebastian.

"What's going on?", he asked.

"Well, apparently she said it's my fault she lost both of you and uhm... she fired me when I told her I also deserved an apology".

"Fired you?".

"Yes, I worked as her bodyguard".

"No wonder I knew I had seen you around... uhm you know what? man to man yeahh, let's go get a drink and clear our heads and not think about that bitch", he said..

"Really? if that's okay with you sure ", I said.

"Hop in", he said and I put my things in the car and cancelled my ride, I was actually planning on getting a hotel to stay for a while, maybe this could help".

"For what's worth it? I never wanted that girl, she was only in the picture cuz of my family pressure".
