“The closer I got to him, the more I risked losing myself.”

Elena’s apartment felt unnaturally quiet after the chaos of the club. The city outside hummed, alive with distant traffic, neon lights painting the walls in fleeting, electric streaks. Yet inside her bedroom, her thoughts were louder than any siren or car horn. She sank onto her bed, pulling her knees close, her mind still replaying Luca DeLuca’s touch.

Just one brush of his hand. One fleeting contact. And yet it had left her trembling, her body alive with a heat she hadn’t felt before. Every detail—the way he moved, the intensity of his eyes, the subtle curl of his lips—was burned into her memory like a brand she didn’t want removed.

Her phone buzzed, and she jumped. Maya’s name flashed on the screen.

“So… how was the club? You look like someone just saw a ghost in your own life.”

Elena hesitated before typing. “It was… something.”

“Something?” Maya replied instantly. “That’s vague. Was it the music, the drinks, or… the guy you keep thinking about?”

Elena’s fingers froze. She could feel the heat rising to her cheeks. “Maybe the guy,” she typed back, then almost deleted it.

The reply came almost immediately: “Oooohhh… tell me everything, girl. You’re acting like you’ve just met trouble in person.”

Elena laughed nervously. How could she explain? How could she describe a man who exuded danger like it was perfume, a man whose eyes alone made her heart hammer and her mind spin? Some things couldn’t be explained. Some things were meant to be felt, dangerously, irreversibly.

The next evening, Elena’s curiosity became unbearable. She told herself it was just observation—studying him from a distance. But even as she walked toward the club, heels clicking against the wet sidewalk, she knew the truth: she wanted to see him again. Wanted the danger. Wanted the craving.

The city was alive, the streets buzzing with neon and sirens, but Elena only had eyes for the dark silhouette waiting near the VIP entrance. Luca.

He noticed her immediately. She could feel his gaze, piercing and intense, scanning her like he could see every thought she hadn’t even spoken. The air between them felt charged, a static pull she could not resist.

“You came back,” he said, his voice calm, deep, a velvet promise that made her knees weak.

“I… I was just—” She tried to form words, but they failed her.

“You were just curious,” he finished for her. “Good. Curiosity keeps things interesting.”

Elena felt heat rise in her chest. The pull between them was magnetic, unavoidable. He moved closer, slipping through the crowd with effortless control, and she realized the world around her had disappeared. Only him. Only the danger. Only the craving.

When he stopped inches from her, Elena could smell him—cedar, leather, and something darker. Her pulse spiked.

“You shouldn’t be here,” he murmured, the warning threading through every word.

“And why not?” she asked, though her voice was steadier than she felt.

“Because if anyone else notices… they’ll know you’ve crossed a line.”

“I don’t care,” she whispered, more to herself than to him.

His lips curved in a slow, approving smile. “Good. I like people who take risks.”

The music thumped around them, but it was a distant echo. The tension between them was almost tangible, vibrating like electricity in the air. Elena’s mind raced: He’s dangerous. He’s a mafia man. He could ruin my life. And yet… I want him.

A sudden shout drew her attention—an argument near the bar. Luca’s posture stiffened, playful charm replaced by sharp awareness. Elena caught a glimpse of his bodyguards moving subtly, scanning the crowd. This wasn’t just a man flirting at a club. This was power and danger, and she was right in its orbit.

“Stay close,” Luca murmured, brushing his fingers against hers again. This time, the touch lingered, leaving her pulse thrumming painfully. Every nerve in her body screamed at her to flee, yet she followed, drawn into his shadow like a moth to flame.

“Do you always take risks?” she asked, trying to match his calm, though her voice trembled.

“Only when the reward is worth it,” he said, leaning slightly closer, his scent intoxicating. “Tonight… you’re my reward.”

Elena’s breath caught. Her body felt on fire. Desire and fear twisted inside her in a dangerous dance. She wanted him. She knew it was reckless. She knew the mafia world he inhabited wasn’t hers to touch. But the craving… the craving was already stronger than her logic.

He let go of her hand, only to reach for it again a moment later, his fingers brushing hers in deliberate, teasing strokes. Every touch was a silent promise, every glance a warning she could barely resist.

“You should go home,” he said softly, though his eyes never left hers. “Think about tonight. Think about me.”

“And if I don’t?” she asked, her heart hammering.

“Then,” he said, leaning just close enough that she could feel his warmth, “you’ll be mine to test.”

Her knees weakened. She wanted to protest, to tell him no, but the words stuck in her throat. He was dangerous, intoxicating, everything she shouldn’t want—and yet, she did. More than she had ever wanted anything.

Later, walking home alone, every shadow felt like him, every flash of neon reminded her of his eyes. She replayed the night endlessly—the touch, the words, the heat. She knew she had crossed a line she could never uncross. The craving for him had taken root, dangerous and consuming.

Her apartment felt like a cage as she sank onto her bed. Desire and fear wove together into a tangled web she couldn’t escape. Every instinct told her to run, but every fiber of her being wanted to go back—to see him again, to feel the pull, to surrender to the danger and passion that had already taken over her mind and body.

Sleep wouldn’t come. Not tonight. Not until she had seen him again.

  • Dangerous Cravings   Chapter Five: The Morning After

“Some nights change everything. The morning after reveals the price.” --- Elena woke slowly. At first, the world felt soft and unfamiliar. The sheets beneath her were smoother than anything she had ever touched before, cool against her skin as she shifted slightly. The room was quiet—too quiet—and smelled faintly of expensive cologne mixed with the clean scent of fresh linen. For a moment, she didn’t remember where she was. Then the memories came rushing back. Luca. His voice. His hands. The way the world had seemed to disappear the moment he touched her. Her cheeks warmed instantly. She opened her eyes fully and stared up at the ceiling, replaying the night in her mind. Every whisper. Every look. Every dangerous moment that had pulled her deeper into his world. Slowly, she turned her head. The other side of the bed was empty. Her heart sank slightly, though she didn’t know why she had expected anything different. Men like Luca didn’t stay. They didn’t linger in the

  • Dangerous Cravings   Chapter Four: Surrendering to the Night

“I knew stepping closer would change everything, but I couldn’t stop myself.” Elena’s pulse was hammering the moment the apartment door closed behind her. The muffled city sounds outside—the distant sirens, honking cars, and neon-lit streets—felt impossibly far away, like another world entirely. Inside, everything was quiet, except the thrum of her heart in her ears. Shadows stretched across the room, softened by the glow of the city lights. Leather furniture, dark wood, and polished surfaces reflected just enough to make her feel exposed, like someone could watch every thought flicker across her mind. And then there was him. Luca DeLuca stood there, watching her. His eyes were dark, sharp, and impossibly magnetic. She had seen that gaze before, but tonight it was different—intense, private, focused solely on her. Every second of silence stretched taut, like a bowstring pulled tight, ready to snap. “You shouldn’t be here,” he murmured, low, velvety, and dangerous. “And why not?”

  • Dangerous Cravings   Chapter Three: Temptation in the Shadows

“Every step closer to him felt like stepping into fire—and I couldn’t turn away.” Elena hadn’t slept. Not really. Every time she closed her eyes, the memory of Luca’s hand brushing hers at the club, the intensity of his gaze, and the dangerous promise in his words replayed relentlessly. She sat on her bed, legs curled under her, staring at the ceiling as if it could somehow answer the question that was spinning in her mind: Why can’t I stop thinking about him? Her phone buzzed. A message from Maya: “I swear, girl, if he’s real… you’re screwed. Are you going back to that club?” Elena typed slowly, almost trembling: “I don’t know. Maybe. I… can’t stop thinking about him.” The reply was immediate: “You’re insane. But… also, kinda brave. Don’t get yourself killed.” Elena smiled faintly, though it didn’t ease the heat rising in her chest. Brave or insane, she knew she would see him again. There was no other choice. Not when the craving for Luca had already taken root inside her, a h

One touch, and I was already lost. The city never slept. Neon lights painted the streets in electric blues and reds, reflecting off puddles from an afternoon rain that lingered like a secret no one wanted to forget. Elena Moretti pulled her leather jacket tighter around her shoulders and stepped onto the cracked sidewalk, the pulse of bass from the club down the street vibrating through her chest. She wasn’t supposed to be here—not tonight—but curiosity had a way of bending rules she thought she’d never break. The club’s entrance was crowded, the doorman scanning IDs with an air of boredom. Elena’s pulse quickened—not from the fear of being turned away, but anticipation. Something about tonight felt… different. Dangerous, yet irresistible. Inside, the music hit like a wave. The scent of perfume, alcohol, and expensive cologne wrapped around her, heavy and intoxicating. Strobe lights cut across the room, flickering over faces and bodies moving to the rhythm. She walked past the b
