My phone rang just as I dropped it on the table. Seeing the name on the caller ID, I picked up the phone and answered the call.

I hung up immediately, leaning my back on the chair as my lips curved into a smirk. Whoever thought to mess with an innocent person would surely pay for it. My phone buzzed and I stared at the screen. It was a text with the address. Putting my phone away, I cleared my desk, shut my laptop, and headed for the door. Immediately I pulled the door open, I came face to face with Xander.

"Hey man, I was about to come in," he smiled.

"I have to be somewhere," I replied and slammed the door shut, walking up to the elevator, and he followed after me.
