Chapter Eight AphroditeThe morning sun streamed inside, making lines on my fine as it shone brightly, arousing me from a deep sleep. My eyes fluttered half open weakly, and I stretched my hand to draw the silk curtain close, preventing the sun from entering. Wait! Silk? Chapter Nine Thorne I got out of the shower, my wet hair soaking the towel as I rubbed it gently on my head. I heard the room door opening and closing, and I thought it was the the maid coming to clean the room, until I got to the room and was saw no one. She had left. Strangely, I felt disappointed. Chapter Ten Aphrodite Shit! I was twenty-one minutes late. I straightened up the hand of my hand bag as I placed my phone in it, and legs aching as I walked because of the vigorous activity of last night. “Beast!” I muttered as I wished for the elevator to move a bit faster. Chapter Eleven Aphrodite“Stop,” his deep husky voice commanded, and my movements halted. I heard the soft click of his shoes.
