Chapter Six

Aphrodite

I quickly looked away, feeling my cheeks flush with embarrassment. My body's reaction must have given him the answer he was looking for, and he removed his hands from between my legs. I wasn't sure why, but I felt a sudden surge of panic as I watched him turn away from me. In a moment of desperation, I reached out and grabbed his shirt, pulling him back towards me.

My mind was racing, and I wasn't sure what I was doing. All I knew was that I didn't want him to leave, I just needed him to stay.

I stuttered, my voice shaking with emotion. "Why does it matter if I'm a virgin? What's wrong with that?"

He looked at me for a long moment, his face impassive. I felt like he was staring into my soul, trying to read my thoughts. Finally, he spoke, his voice steady and calm. "I don't sleep with virgins," he said, his tone matter-of-fact.
