3 years Later…
On a cold night filled with the sound of the howling winds and the night owls, Silvester was walking around the city as he tried to find the culprit who killed his wife. Three years after her death, she was still not given justice. The case was dropped suddenly and he couldn't do anything to give his wife the justice she deserves.
Despite being a lawyer, he is now carrying a gun behind his pocket as he silently scans people around. An anonymous man gave him the location of the culprit. Despite doubting the caller, he still agreed to go. This might be the only chance he can find the person behind the assassination.
Wearing black genes and a dark blue hoodie, he followed behind people to see who looked suspicious enough that he would find them highly skeptical. If the culprit sees him, they'll surely tremble from guilt.
He accidentally bumps into someone while walking. He stumbled back before apologizing and noticed the woman fell down. "Shit," he whispered as he bent down and offered help. He might have turned cold but that doesn't mean that all emotions from him disappeared.
"L-leave me… be!" she shouted as she pushed his hand away. The woman almost vomited and he can sense the lingering smell of alcohol on her. She stood up from the ground before fixing her hair while holding a bottle of tequila.
"Ma'am, are you okay-" The woman turned around as her long hair slapped him in the face before she faced him. "What the fuck." His gentleman-like actions vanished. He held his face before looking at her and his lips parted as his heart started beating fast.
She covered her mouth to stop herself from vomiting as her eyes looked like it's about to give up. She fixed her hair before trying to open it to look at Silvester. "D-Dianne?" He tried reaching her shoulder but she pushed his chest. The longing he felt before suddenly came back.
"Don't touch me, you freak!" she shouted before turning around and walking away. He held his chest as he stared at her, astonished. She didn't seem to notice his face.
In a blink of an eye, men surrounded her as she was walking away. He stopped for a second, still in shock to see her once more. "Get off me!" she screamed before pushing one of the men away but he kept persisting.
Silvester clenched my jaw before walking toward them. He tightened his fist as he was getting ready to strike. We might have ended it on bad terms but I can't let her be harmed… he thought to himself.
He was about to blow a punch but she was able to surprise him. Dianne stepped back and opened her eyes slightly before striking a punch, straight to the man's face. The man screamed in agony as the other ones tried to pin her but to no avail. One was able to grab her from the back but Silvester quickly tripped the man and pushed him to the ground.
"Perverts!" she shouted in her drunken state before turning around and striking a punch at Silvester's face. Fuck! he thought as the pain spread across his face.
He held his cheeks as she watched him with a piercing stare. "Don't fucking… touch me!" she shouted and stepped forward. Everyone escaped and left Silvester to deal with her. "Freak!" one of the men shouted as they were running away.
"Dianne…" he whispered as he backed away, still in shock to see his old lover. She didn't seem to recognize him though. "Are y-you another stalker? I'm going to k-kill you!" She seemed terrifying yet he was not afraid.
"It's me…" All he can whisper.
"Silvester," he uttered slowly and she opened her eyes slightly to look at him. "Who dares to speak the name unspoken of for years?" She glared at him and he clenched his jaw. She intensely looked at the man before the gears started to turn.
Her jaw dropped and her eyes widened. "No…" She stepped back, still holding onto her bottle of tequila. He tried reaching out and holding her face but she pushed his hand away. He looked at her with concern.
"This can't be real," she tried convincing herself and tried running away but to be cornered by another man. "Dianne!" A man almost as tall as Silvester, almost half-naked, stood.
"I can explain–" Dianne backed away and stood next to Silvester and his eyebrows furrowed. He examined the man who seemed to have had a night with another woman, based on the hickeys and lipstick stains on his body.
"You cheater…" she murmured as she extended her hand to point at him with her bottle of alcohol. Silvester's eyes widened as the other man's eyes were filled with horror. "No one treated me right! I thought you would… I really d-did. But you screwed me over!" Silvester stood there like ice as the couple stared at each other.
"Please, baby," he stepped forward and grabbed her and she groaned. She lifted her hand and with no hesitation smashed it against her cheating boyfriend's head. "Fuck you, Rae!" Anger consumed her as he fell to the ground.
He groaned in pain as he held his head but forced himself up. He was about to take another step toward her but Silvester blocked his way as he was looking at the broken pieces of glass on the ground. He looked up with a devilish glare at Rae as the man looked back with confusion.
"Leave." One word says a lot. Silvester is not messing around but Rae seemed to ignore him as Dianne tried not to vomit.
"Who is this?" Rae asked as he pointed at Silvester who Dianne was behind.
She pulled Silvester's arm from blocking her view of her cheating boyfriend before composing herself. She clenched her jaw as she stood like a leader in front of her soldier. "If you're easy to find another woman, it's easier for me to find another man," she stated with confidence.
"His name is Silvester, a man from the past that resurfaced. He's my new boyfriend." A smirk grew on her drunk face and the two men were beyond shocked.
"What?" the two said in unison.
Before they knew it, she wrapped her arm around Silvester's neck as she seductively looked at him. She grinned before pressing her warm body against his as he felt himself heat up. He gulped as he looked at her pretty face. "Welcome back, sweetheart," she whispered before pulling his face closer and kissing him on the lips.
Silvester's instincts took over as he wrapped his arm around her waist, pulling her closer, and continuing their kiss that caught her off guard. The two continued deep-kissing one another as if her ex-boyfriend is not watching.
After the steamy kiss, she pulled away but still continued hugging Silvester. She didn't bother turning around to face her ex but simply uttered, "We're over, Rae."
"This is unbelievable," the man said before storming off, leaving the two alone.
Silvester processed what happened and he couldn't believe what he had done. He gave in to Dianne, someone he thought he had already gotten over with, but his body language says otherwise. Is he longing for her for all these years?
Dianne suddenly vomited all over him, and he pushed her lightly. "The fu–" He looked at his disgusting ruined hoodie with vomit.
"Sorry…" she cutely apologized with a soft tone. How can I not forgive her?
"I'll drive you to your house, follow me," he said, trying to ignore the kiss and wiping the vomit off of his hoodie. She followed behind him with a pouty face before grabbing his arm.
"I-I don't…" He stopped to look at her. "I don't have a place to stay…" she shyly murmured.
He decided to bring her to his house for the time being and she already passed out on the way there. "Dianne-" He turned to the shotgun seat and saw her sleeping. He sighed before leaving the car and going to her side. Before he opened his car, he took off his hoodie and threw it to the ground to avoid getting her dirty.
He carried her inside and the warm body heat comforted her. She still looks pretty since the last time I saw her… he thought to himself before smiling sadly, and she slowly opened her eyes.
"Where am I?" she uttered slowly as her surroundings were spinning. He placed her on his sofa before kneeling in front of her. "You're inside my house, you're drunk, and you can only stay for tonight, understood?" She looked around confusedly before rubbing her eyes and staring at the man in front of her.
His face changed drastically, he looked more mature and handsome, like a hanky daddy. His sharp jawline is more defined, his nose is perfect for his face shape. While his eyes can capture your heart and see your soul. And those lips… cherry blossom color that is perfect for kissing.
Looking down on his bare torso, tattoos are on his biceps and arms on both sides of his body. Damn, she didn't know tattoos can look that sexy. But how can it not be? It's a tattoo on a man with six-packs and strong biceps.
"Silvester…" she whispered before leaning forward and hugging him. "I missed you so much," she said with tears in her eyes and he froze.
"I missed you," she repeated and hugged him tighter. "I'm sorry," she whispered before letting go of him and grabbing his face softly.
"I just… I was… I'm- I-" She was unable to create a sentence. He hushed her and hugged her to reassure her. Out of instinct, he kissed her forehead which made her cry harder but he was unsure why she was crying.
He stared at her as she looked at him with tears flowing down. She's still drunk, she may be filled with guilt, but she also feels longing. She grabbed the side of his cheek and caressed the bruise she left from her punch before leaning forward and meeting each other's lips. The softness of her lips makes it addicting or Silvester to resist.
NOW everything is over, Dianne and Silvester are now living without worrying about death. But, it wasn't always so easy. When the public was informed of Dianne's reappearance, it was not taken lightly. Silvester had to represent her in court to fight for her freedom. It was difficult, but they managed to win. "Thank you." Her genuine appreciation made his heart feel at ease. This woman makes living fantastic despite the problems it installs. She makes his life filled with color and removes sorrows. Despite winning the case, some sacrifices needed to be made. Her company was taken away from her and there was nothing they could do. "I… Everything my parents have done is now in vain." Silvester was there throughout her struggles. Now, they need to start over. He felt nostalgic as he remembered the first time he met her again after so many years. He stumbled upon her with Rae, her then-boyfriend. Silvester and her did not end on great terms but seeing how drunk she was, all he could th
Mr. Damos was in fury, how come she's already awake and now she's back in action? This was not according to plan as his hand continued to bleed out. "Shoot her!" His angry command did not bother her in the slightest. "Stand down," another woman's voice appeared from outside the room. Everyone was confused, but the elites' soldiers knew who it was. They lowered their guns as the woman emerged. It was no other than Addison Scott, the woman who was furious at Dianne Reeves, who is now on her side to stop the war. The two women stood side by side as both their power was stronger than Mr. Damos. He had no match as Dianne controlled the syndicate members, and Addison controlled the elites. "What is this?!" Mr. Damos was in disbelief, he couldn't move. He was cornered. Before he knew it, the syndicate members rose from the ground and made a path in the middle of the room for Dianne. Silvester couldn't take his eyes off of the woman he loves and so does his brother. The two of them ma
SILVESTER was swimming in blood and drenched with sweat. With daggers in one hand and a gun in the other, the enemies are in shambles facing him with fear. They underestimated the supreme leader, and now, they're paying for the price. "Where is he?" he asked in a menacing and deep voice as he grabbed the man's collar with a gun pointed at his head. The man did not answer. Silvester sensed someone running beside them that he lifted the gun and shot the man. "Now, where the fuck is he?" He was running out of patience as he questioned the man in front of him again. "One…" he stated. "Two…" When the count reached three, Silvester pulled the trigger and the man dropped to the floor, dead. They have been in a constant battle in this building for the whole day. There were many floors and many men inside the building. With joined forces with different syndicate leaders, they were able to stop the men they had to fight from the elites. It was strange to find some syndicate men fighting the
Every step he takes, the anxiety inside him increases. The door to where Dianne was staying was only a few feet away but he wanted to backtrack. Kronos did not give him any context and just led him here which scared him. "You can enter," Kronos said in a low tone and Silvester gulped. Silvester grabbed the door handle and gripped it tightly. He kept praying to God that she was alright before finally opening the door and seeing her on the hospital bed, sleeping. He clenched his jaw and slowly got closer. "What's her condition?" he asked the doctor. "Her body is exhausted. However, she is showing signs that she is recovering. We will examine and do checks on her every so often," he explained and Silvester nodded his head. He asked the doctor and guards to leave the two of them alone and so they did. Silvester grabbed a chair and placed it next to her bed. He deeply sighed before sitting down as he stared at her. She was pale as a ghost and cold as ice when he touched her hand to
"FUCK!" RAE was bitten and kicked so that his hand loosened the grip on Eva. She turned around and jolted in his direction as she tried grabbing the gun. "Why even do this?" he asked in confusion but she did not answer. She kicked his stomach but he held her foot in place. The two looked at each other for a moment before Rae smirked evilly and pulled her foot. She fell to the ground before he bent down and apprehended her hands while the gun was pointed at her head. "We have your family, remember?" Rae asked, knowing they are in Silvester's mansion. Eva's laughter of disappointment rhymed along with the waves of thunder. "His fucking dad got them, you idiots!" she screamed in anger as she remembered what happened that day. She was hiding from the syndicate when Mr. Damos was the one who was the first to find her. The following morning, he instructed her to walk in the streets until Rae got a hold of her. It wasn't a coincidence that they met that day, it was set up. She was forced
Mr. Damos turned over and was in fury upon seeing more than a dozen soldiers behind Silvester stop the ceremony. His anger was very evident but he laughed loudly. "Pardon him, he's very much in envy of this union. Please, continue the ceremony," Mr. Damos announced to force the ceremony to continue but Silvester started walking down the aisle. Rae, who was Kronos' best man, almost shouted in relief when they arrived. "Mr. Damos, our father, is the traitor," Silvester uttered while staring at Kronos who was nodding his head. The syndicate members gasped. Both current and old leaders were there to witness the wedding and they were in disbelief. Mr. Damos' anxiety grew within him as he thought of a way to turn the situation away. "Nonsense! My loyalty lies to the syndicate!" he shouted with nervous laughter as his eyes panned at everyone in the forest. The loud gushes of wind blew within them and there was silence. "This is ridiculous!" "Detain him." A single command by the supreme l
