IN ONE of the syndicate offices, Kronos was in front of his father but his mind was out of the situation. He needed to focus yet his mind was focused elsewhere. He was worried for her, she wasn't picking up any of his calls.

"Do you understand?" His father asked and he looked up with a confused look. He tried remembering what he had said. "Yes," he simply uttered without knowledge of what it was.

"When will you be able to marry her?" His focus suddenly turned to his father after what he had mentioned.
