"Wow, Brenda I never would have guessed that about you." I just sat there while he looked at me. "Was he ever mean to you?"
"No, never. We were very much in love."
"Sounds like he is not ready to give up."
"Yeah, I think so, but I just need to try and stay away. I don't really know what else to do."
"If you need me to help you, I will." I smiled at him.
"You’re very sweet, but this is something I'm just going to have to do myself."
"It still early, would you like some breakfast? I'm actually a good cook."
"Sure, I could eat." I sat at the bar watching Dawson make potatoes, bacon, and eggs. He was talking about how much he actually likes to cook. I asked him why he didn't go to cooking school. He told me he was a high school dropout and how he is in the process of getting his life back on track. I was proud to hear that about him. Dawson seemed li
The club started to play slower music as the night went on. I had two drinks in me and then switched to water. Dawson stayed by my side most of the night. Chris was nowhere to be found. She had sent me a text letting me know she was tired and was going to take a cap home. I tried to find her before she left, but I was guessing I was already too late. I needed to have a talk with that girl. She has been acting so weird lately."How are you doing?" Dawson whispered into my ear.
Dalton's POV,I sat in the dark, drink in my hand. My mind was lost again. All I could see was her. She was my other half. The only one who could keep my demons quiet. The only one that mattered. I took care of the first problem we faced and she was mine again. I still don't know who sent her parent's pictures of us, but it caused me to lose her again. I let it happen, I knew she loved me. I let them take her from me. Knowing in the back of my head. She would be mine again someday, but that's not how this is happening.&
I always thought that the loss of someone I was in love with. Was the worse pain I would have to go thought. I was very wrong. It's been three days since I lost my mother and father to a car crash. My best friend Chris and Dalton have been helping me to get all the funeral arrangements together. I've decided to move back into my parent's home and continue online schooling. I was left with everything my parents owned and I didn't want the house to sit empty. It was too far of a drive to go back and forth to the college. Although I will be going one day out of the week. I didn't want to lose what I worked so hard for.
Unknowns POV,I clicked my drink against the tabletop. Looking at a friend sitting in front of me. "So you still think you can pull this off?" He said to me. I nodded my head at him."I will prove my innocents if it kills me."
Dalton's POV,I drove like a bat out of hell. This can't be true. I pulled my phone out of my pocket and called Christina. I told her to meet me at my apartment. My blood was boiling. I wanted nothing more than to turn the car around and make Brenda love me again. I had to contain my anger. That's why I called Chris. She is the closest I can get to Brenda. She is also going to help me win Brenda back. I pulled up to my place and Chris was already there. I walked into her sitting on my c
Dawson's POV,She looked amazing when she came walking out to my car. I knew why Dalton fell for her. Her long blond hair blew in the warm air. "Good morning." She said as she reached the car."Good morning beautiful. Are you hungry?" She nodded her head at me and put her seatbelt on. I took her far out of town and we found a cafe alongside the ocean. She was so calming to be around. Her mouth just ke
"I asked you a question?""Why do you have a gun?" Christina asked me while she held onto a bag. "Or better yet, what are you doing here?" I could see the tears in her eyes."What's all the noise?" Brenda said walking down the hallway. "Chris, what's wrong?" Brenda asked running to her side. That's when I noticed her eyes were black and blue and she had dry blood on her lips.
Brenda's POV,Once I got back to my hometown. The first thing Chris and I did was head over to Dillon's parent's home. I needed to know everything they knew. Chris and I sat there with Dillon's parents. "I'm so sorry," I said to his mother. Dillon's mother has always been such a sweet woman. All the years Dillon and I dated. We got along so well. She gave me a big hug.
