Prologue

PROLOGUE 

     LEENA'S POV

My phone beeped and a text from Maxxy came in.

    

  "Come to the blueberry garden"

I blushed a little. Maxxy enjoyed spending time with me at that garden but today the weather wasn't pleasant, it looked like it's going to rain soon.  So I texted him back. 

  

   "It's going to rain soon"

    

   "Just come, I want to watch the rain with you", he texted back. 

I smiled, blushing again Maxxy knows just how to make me happy.  I quickly got ready and left for the garden. 

I stood there waiting patiently for him.

After about 10mins, there was no sign of maxxy.  

I got up nervously as the rain began to fall first in small droplets and then the large drops drained my hair. 

I suddenly caught sight of a man, but I couldn't see his face too clearly, he moved swiftly to me.  

Before I could scream, I felt a heavy metal hit my head., I tried to gain balance, but everything went blank. 

        

       

     ARIANA'S POV

The blueberry forest was blooming with the bread fruits in bright blue colour. 

 I put my boot on the mud and plucked the fruit yanking it into my mouth, delicious. 

 I was still busy chewing at the berry fruits when it started raining, first in small droplets, then the heavy drops fell on me, wetting my hair and body. 

I knew had to run to shelter. 

As I moved to stand under one of the trees,I suddenly noticed movements behind me.

I quickly turned just in time and saw  man on dark hoods dragging a body towards the deep part of the forest. 

I couldn't see his face but I acted quickly hiding behind a tree. 

I watched him drop the body and disappeared into the woods. 

My brows furrowed as I wondered what was happening. Out of curiosity,I ran out of my hiding place towards the body. 

When I got closer,I noticed the body was a girl...No... a lady.

I looked around in fear again. Someone had murdered her!

I gently uncovered her face and gasped in shock!

Lying down there was me!

I looked at her face again and it was me lying down there lifeless.

Wait, did I say me? 

I'm standing here, but the lady on the floor is definitely me. 

Same hair, same face, same body build.

Still in shock, I felt a hand wrap round my neck, I tried to turn, it the man on the dark hood. 

He wriggled my throat till I was begging and gasping for breath. 

He suddenly  dropped me to the floor, bent down and whispered. 

"DARK DESIRES...."

"Wh.... what are you...",I stuttered trying to understand what he was saying.

 But then I felt a heavy metal on my head.  I felt everything blacking out.
