"Alpha she is awake." I heard an unfamiliar but soft female voice say as my eyes fluttered open. Everything was blurry around me but I could just make out a few figures huddled around me.
Where was I and who were these people? "Hello my dear. My name is Doctor Abbey and I am going to be looking after you. You have had a very nasty fall but I assure you that you will be fine after some rest." I felt the persons hand touch the top of mine as if she were trying to reassure me. I realised I was crying. I had no idea who these people around me were or how I had gotten there. "Alpha Isacc." I called out panicking as I looked around me and didn't recognise any of the eyes staring back at me. "Alpha Isacc please help me!" I yelled louder this time causing the doctor to frown. A figure entered the room and I immediately felt my heart go crazy and my body tingled. He looked straight at me before coming to my bedside. Without a word he picked up my hand and took it into his. Instantly calming me down. "You may leave now doctor." He said. "Certainly Alpha Ben."she nodded leaving the room and shutting the door behind her. I was left alone with this tall man but I felt a sense of security roll over me. She called him Alpha but he wasn't my Alpha. "Are you ... are you my mate?" I stuttered unable to take my eyes off this man stroking my hand and sending electric waves up and down my body. He gave me a smile and without a word he leant in to kiss my lips softly. Wow. "Indeed I am and you are my Luna. " he said. This could not be right surely. This guy was adamant that I was his mate and sure I felt the connection but it was happening so quickly. I tried to get up from the bed but he held his hand out stopping me. "You can't get up yet. You have had a nasty fall." He insisted. "I remember going into the forest and something was calling to me. I .. I don't remember what happened but my shoulder. It.. it... " I felt my shoulder and frowned as the memory of that stinging sensation as it flooded my mind. "What do you remember?" The Alpha demanded to know. "I was running and then I met someone and someone or something stabbed my shoulder. " I gasped remembering it all so clearly now. The Alpha nodded a flicker of anger crossed his face as he turned to the window obviously not wanting to recall it. "A rogue. A strange one we think was a spy of some sort. " He said. "A spy but why?" He turned back to face me and shook his head. He sat on the edge of the bed taking my hands into his. " All you need to know is you are safe and nothing and nobody will hurt you. I will not allow it." He insisted. A knock at the door made him jump up and growl angrily. "What is it?" He boomed making the wall of the room shake and a frightened voice from the other side of the door sounded. "Alpha we have found the rogue in question." The Alpha immediately flew to the door forcing it open with such force I was shocked it didn't fall off the hinges. Standing in front of the alpha was a man about six feet tall and muscular body. He had a beard and piecing blue eyes. Turning to me, he stroked my hair and kissed my forehead. Assuring me that everything was just fine. I only nodded in response, unable to breath a word. "Beta Daniel let's go into my office and talk further." He insisted and left me all alone in the room for a few seconds before the friendly doctor came bustling in with a smile on her face and plate of food in her hands. My stomach grumbled loudly at the sight of food. I hadn't realised I was absolutely starving. "Luna, I hope you are satisfied with this selection of sandwiches. You need your energy." I wasn't sure how I felt about being called Luna but I guess it was something that I was going to get used to eventually. I smiled gratefully as I demolished the delicious sandwiches. Ham, cheese and mayonnaise. My absolute favourite. After a few minutes I pushed the plate away feeling satisfied from eating. I had so many questions but the doctor was abit hesitant to give me any clues about anything. "Now you need to just worry about getting healed. Now you're healing very quickly but the Alpha has insisted that you stay here for now. " I raised my eyebrows at her words. The Alpha may be an alpha but he had no say over me staying in bed when I felt fine. " If as you all seem to put it, that I am his Luna then you should very much know that I am within my own rights to leave this bed." The doctor looked shocked at my words. "But the Alpha shall be back any moment." I smiled at the worry in her tone. "My Luna what are you doing?" I heard his voice and looked up in surprise. Giving him a smirk I swung my legs over the bed and made to get up but he was quickly by my side demanding that I listen to his orders. "I am from the Blue mountain pack therefore it is my own alpha Isacc that can give me such orders. Now if you will excuse me I better be getting home before I am found to be missing." I told them. I watched as the doctor gasped and took a step backwards. The Alpha Ben looked furious. "Do you realise that the blue mountain pack are not who you think them to be?" He growled angrily at me. Not who I think them to be? What nonsense was this Alpha talking about. Of course I knew exactly who my pack were. I may have been different from the others but they were still my family and would never allow any danger to come to me. I should never have left my pack house. I knew that they would be worried for my safety. This is probably the reason why Alpha Isacc didn't approve of me leaving anyone's sight. The world was crazy. First I had been attacked by some awful rogue and now I was being told I was the Luna to another packs alpha who just so happened to be my mate. A pack I had never even heard of let alone seen in my whole twenty one years of being alive. It couldn't be true. "You are to stay here where I can fully protect you. I will not allow you out of my sight. That, my Luna is for your own good.I am the Alpha." He insisted very firmly. I didn't want to listen to his words but a part of me knew as his mate that I could not leave him.As they stepped into the cool, damp air of the night, the rain had transformed into a light drizzle, misting the surroundings in a haze. The world outside felt lush and alive, yet ominous with an undercurrent of uncertainty. George led the way, Elora and Maya close behind, each step bringing them closer to a sanctuary that felt both like a refuge and a line crossed. "Stay close," George advised, casting a watchful glance over his shoulder. "We don't know who might be watching."Elora nodded, clutching the strap of her backpack tightly. The weight of her belongings felt significant, but it was nothing compared to the emotional burden she carried. With each step, she fought to push back the creeping doubts and fears about what lay ahead.Maya, sensing Elora’s unease, took her hand in a reassuring grip. "You’re going to be okay," she whispered, her voice a soft murmur beneath the steady rhythm of the raindrops. "Remember, you're with us now."Elora squeezed her hand in return, grateful
The air hung thick with unspoken truths and unspoken words. Elora's eyes, still redrimmed, darted between George and Maya, flickering between emotions."What do you mean, what happens now?" she asked, her voice barely audible. Her voice wavered as her question trailed off. She looked at George and Maya, a hint of uncertainty, fear, and hope in her eyes.Maya's response was firm and reassuring. "Now, we secure your safety, Elora. You will be safe here. We'll protect you. We're a pack, and we take care of our own. We’ll take care of you. We stay together, always.""I appreciate it, both of you," Elora said. "It's just a lot to take in," she added quietly. "A lifetime of pretending…knowing you existed and being afraid of the implications. Now, finding out that my father is the cause of this all?" She paused and swallowed hard. "Who I thought was the cause?" she asks."He's the one that caused all this. He's the one who made the choices that brought you here. But it's not your fault," Geo
Elora's eyes widened, flicking from me to Maya, confusion and disbelief etched on her face. "Your...sister?" she echoed faintly, her voice laced with a mixture of emotions that mirrored the turmoil swirling within me.I nodded, taking a deep breath as I steadied myself for the storm of questions and emotions that was bound to follow. "Yes, Elora. My father...our father," I corrected myself, the words tasting bitter on my tongue, "has made choices that hurt many, including you and our mother. But I want you to know, none of that is your fault. You are as much a part of this pack, this family, as I am."Maya gripped my hand tightly, a silent show of support. She had always been my rock, her strength unwavering even in the midst of chaos. "We're going to look after you, Elora," she said, her voice firm despite the tremble that had lingered moments before. "You're safe here, with us."Elora looked between us, her eyes glimmering with unshed tears as the gravity of the revelation began to
As I stormed out of the room, my anger and frustration were boiling over. How could my son, my own flesh and blood, dare to challenge me like that? And Elora, she was a constant reminder of my infidelity, a mistake I couldn't overlook. The thought of her being in my pack, in my territory, made my blood boil.I needed to clear my head, to let go of all the pent-up rage and disappointment. I sprinted through the woods, my paws pounding against the forest floor. The wind rushed through my fur, cooling the fire burning inside me. My wolf howled in exhilaration, relishing the freedom of the run. But, even in the midst of the adrenaline-fueled sprint, I couldn't escape the consequences of my actions. Images of Elora's tear-stained face flashed before my eyes, and guilt started to creep in. How could I be so heartless to her? She was innocent, a victim of my mistakes. The weight of my responsibilities as an alpha felt heavy on my shoulders. As I slowed down, the anger began to dissipate, repl
“Is everything ok, Alpha?” My Beta knocked on my door and poked his head around to check on me. I was sitting up in bed with a splitting headache. I had drunk way to much this time and now my son knew that that stupid slut Elora was his sister. This was a nightmare for me. How could I have opened my mouth in the worst possible way? I was certain that he would not tell his mother of my unfaithfulness to her and the secret daughter that had been hidden away from her all of these years. “I will be, keep an eye on that slutty omega Elora. She is nothing but trouble that one.” I told him to which he looked slightly surprised but did not challenge my request. Being alpha meant what I said went. I was the leader of the pack. He closed the door behind him and my luna came stomping into the room with a look of thunder on her tired face. She still had it, even after these years and has given birth. Her body was to die for. My wolf still went crazy insane when she was near. Even though I
I wanted to kill him. How could she be my sister? How could my father cheat on my beautiful mother like she were a worthless hoare? He was lucky I did not kill him there and then. Elora did not deserve to be treated this way all because my father saw her as his dirty little secret. I could not bare to see him hurt my mother or my sister. It felt strange to think I had a sister. Elora. Maya would be crazy when I told her about this. My father did not seem to care one little bit about Elora. He had tried to end her life to keep her quiet over something that was not her fault. It made me question everything my father had ever told me over the years. He wasn’t the man I had looked up to growing up. I was certain I would never be such a selfish alpha when I finally took over the reins. I was determined that my pack would be treated fairly no matter their rank status. My father was so drunk he could barely get up. I ordered some of the warriors to take him inside and put him to bed wh
