My name is Elora and I reside at the Blue Mountain Packhouse. I have a slim figure, long curly blonde hair which I usually wear up in a bun so it is out of my face. My eyes are a deep blue which I love. I am not a normal girl though. You see I am a shewolf, my rank at the packhouse is an omega. I don’t know my parents because they passed away when I was just a tiny baby, so I don’t have any memories of them. The only thing I have is a necklace locket from my mother. I have never taken it off because it makes me feel close to her spirit. After having completed all my chores, it was time for a shower and bed. I would have to be up at four am along with the other omegas, to begin breakfast for the pack members. We weren’t treated to badly here at Blue Mountain Pack, but our Alpha Isaac was extremely strict. We had to follow all rules without any exceptions. Most of the omegas were allowed to train and shift along with the higher pack members but Alpha Issac did not allow me that luxury. He never gave me a reason for this and I did not dare to question him. Of course I wondered why I couldn’t join but on the very few occasions that I had been permitted to shift into my wolf, Alpha Issac had become very uncomfortable and banned me from showing my wolf to anyone. The urge to shift and wander into the night was becoming unbearable and I knew it would be a huge risk if caught, but I couldn’t deny the urge was becoming stronger every night. Tonight was different, I knew deep down that I should not have left the pack house on my own, but something was calling me to the forest. I needed to find out what it was. Before I could stop myself, I was standing in the middle of a clearing. I knew I was still on my territory but something felt very offish. I got a horrible feeling run up and down my spine. Alpha Isaac was going to go crazy when he found out I had up and left. He made his rules very clear and anyone found to be disobeying them would be punished appropriately. But the last few days had felt awfully strange, like something was calling out to me. My wolf wanted to run off into the woods and find out for certain. It wasn't like I could just up and go especially after I had been protected and kept watch of my entire life. However, I wouldn't be long, just long enough to find out what was leading me to the forest. If I were lucky and back in time then perhaps Alpha Issac and the rest of the packhouse would never know I had even left. I kept running as fast as I could, not wanting to look over my shoulder or stop in case anyone was going to come after me, or worse those filthy rogues. "STOP!" boomed an unfamiliar but very angry tone somewhere to my left. Coming to a halt, I instantly froze to the spot. Tears were threatening to flood as I held my breath. Hoping that whoever was there would not hurt me in any way. "Where are you going?" someone stepped forward from the bushes and violently grabbed a huge chunk of my long curly hair. Forcing me on my knees, he threw me down to the ground so my face fell into a puddle of leaves and sticks and goodness knows what else. "I.. I'm sorry ..!" was all I managed to stutter. Pulling me up by my arm I shrieked out loudly in pain. The man then swung his arm up as if about to slap me, then he stopped and just stared at my neck. "Where did you get that from?" he growled. Instantly I felt for my locket and swallowed nervously. "It's from my mother." The man scoffed and pushed me against the tree by the scruff of the neck. "You are lying." "No. I promise..!" We were interrupted by a loud growling from behind. I moved my eyes to the direction it came from and gasped. The strong stench of Coffee and walnut whirls overwhelmed me and I knew it was him straight away. My mate. " Alpha Ben, this rogue was caught here in your territory. What shall I do with her?" “What do you think you are doing! Get your hands off her!” I watched in awe as he grabbed the man and threw him across the clearing straight into a tree. Knocking him straight out. "MINE!" I heard his voice boom. "Mate!" I whispered as my mouth fell open in shock. His eyes were deep blue colour while his muscular body screamed out authority. I wanted to go to him at once but something stopped me. "What are you doing out here all alone. You should be protected. It is a dam good thing I found you before you fell into some real danger." He exclaimed reaching out to me. Taking a deep breath I opened my mouth to speak when I felt a strange stinging sensation in my left shoulder. "Wait.. what was that? What have you done to me?" I was scared and unable to move from the spot. My legs instantly collapsed causing me to end up in a heap on the forest ground. "No!" I heard someone scream but then everything around me went dark.
"Alpha she is awake." I heard an unfamiliar but soft female voice say as my eyes fluttered open. Everything was blurry around me but I could just make out a few figures huddled around me. Where was I and who were these people? "Hello my dear. My name is Doctor Abbey and I am going to be looking after you. You have had a very nasty fall but I assure you that you will be fine after some rest." I felt the persons hand touch the top of mine as if she were trying to reassure me. I realised I was crying. I had no idea who these people around me were or how I had gotten there. "Alpha Isacc." I called out panicking as I looked around me and didn't recognise any of the eyes staring back at me. "Alpha Isacc please help me!" I yelled louder this time causing the doctor to frown. A figure entered the room and I immediately felt my heart go crazy and my body tingled. He looked straight at me before coming to my bedside. Without a word he picked up my hand and took it
"Please don't leave me." Tears running down my cheeks as I ran after the figure that was quickly out of my sight. My little legs helpless to catch up. The darkness scared me, I hugged my bear bear tightly and squeezed my eyes shut. "Elora. Elora. Are you ok my dear." I woke to someone shaking the shit out of me. Sitting up in the strange bed and taking in my surroundings. I must have had that dream again. They were getting pretty frequent now. They never made any sense. The person leaving me was a blur. I had no idea who or where it was. People told me it was just a dream but it was always the same. Feeling a little embarrassed at the hunk standing over me with such concern, I hid my face childishly under the soft white pillows. Groaning out loud and wishing I was not in this situation. "Shh my sweet baby, you're safe now." He pulled me into his chest and kissed my forehead. I closed my eyes and breathed in his strong aroma. Was I still dreaming. Thoug
The hungry looking rogues circled us, smacking their lips together and growling. Rachel pulled me into her and let out a kick to one of the rogues. She was a great fighter while I just stood their like a useless idiot. Picking up a long stick beside me I poked one of the rogues in the eye making him yell out in pain. Buying myself a few more minutes to think, I found myself wishing I could reach Ben by mindlink. "We're coming. Don't worry." His voice filled my mind and I squeaked in response. How the hell did that happen? Having no time to process these sudden unexpected mind link powers, I ran and jumped as high as I could muster, at the nearest tree. Clinging onto a branch with all my strength I managed to climb up on it before the rogue beneath me attempted to pull me down. Seconds later the rogue was shot dead by someone in the bushes opposite. I screamed in panic but then out jumped Ben and Daniel in their wolf forms along with a few of the warriors
"Gina." I heard the Alpha yell the minute we entered the pack house. I was exhausted and a little confused why he was calling out to another female. Picking me up bridal style he carried me up the stair case to our bedroom. "Now you need to rest my beautiful Luna. Please listen to me when I say you must not leave this room until I say." he ordered me and I nodded in response. My eyelids were heavy and I couldn't stop yawning. Smiling as my alpha mate carefully tucked me into the huge king-size bed. The freshly made bed of satin sheets and cover was so deliciously comfortable, I could just sleep in it forever. A knock at the door made my alpha spin around in anger, he did not like to be disturbed.Upon opening the door I caught a glimpse of the omgea girl who had been cold and unwelcoming to me. She looked afraid as the alpha towered over her, whispering something quietly that I could not quite catch. I suddenly felt bad for her, assuming that he was giving her a tel
I could not stop thinking about that necklace and how this girl has come to get it. She wore it as if her life depended on it. I did not see her the next morning and nobody seemed to want to explain her whereabouts to me which was actually really irritating me. I guessed that the alpha had something to do with her sudden disappearance and it did not make me feel any better at all. It was as if they were all hiding some big secret from me and I was going to find out what it was. " Would you like some breakfast dear Luna?" The beta came strolling across the hall and linked my arm as if trying to lead me away from the corridor that led to yet another row of rooms. I wondered if they were hiding her in there. "Where is that girl. Gina?" I demanded to know pulling myself away from the beta. He looked shocked at my outburst. "Luna please do not worry yourself with a worthless omega slave. The alpha has had to pop out to run a few errands but he has informed me that he will be ba
It was really late by the time Ben finally made an appearance in the pack house and I was really bored of being ignored by all these pack members. Nobody wanted to talk to me so I spent most of my time in the bedroom sitting on the bed wondering what the hell I had gotten myself into. I couldn’t exactly escape when his stupid beta had insisted on having guards scattered around the place to prevent me leaving. I was being held prisoner for not wanting to listen to some stupid rules. What I needed was to get back home and find out the truth because nothing made any sense. The beta and his sister kept checking on me throughout the day as if afraid I would do something stupid. But nobody wanted to tell me anything about Gina or that necklace. “I’m so sorry I was out a long time.” The alpha exclaimed the second he entered the huge bedroom. I looked up at him glumly not wanting to waste another moment of my time on his nonsense. He stared at my bags and back at me with a q
How my men had been unable to find the silly shewolf was beyond me. She was a fool for leaving the packhouse. She could have been caught and killed by rogues for all I knew. I had my men out around the clock searching for her but not a clue. It was as if she had never existed. “Stupid girl.” I banged my fist down onto the table spilling my warm mug of coffee over some papers. I cursed under my breath as the door flew open to reveal my beta. He looked exhausted from stress. I was probably no better with my lack of sleep finally caving in on me. This she wolf had a lot to answer for. “We cannot find her.” He sighed glumly swinging around in the leather office chair. I sat back in my own chair and stroked my chin thoughtfully. “Perhaps she is at another pack. Maybe they have kept her hostage for a ransom.” The idea made me sound crazy but I was out of explanations by now. The next thing I knew my warrior on guard at the main gates of my land was knocking frantically at m
I gripped Bens hand as the car pulled up to my old packhouse. I immediately spotted Alpha Issac walking towards us, he wore a blank expression so it was difficult for me to predict what mood he was in. Ben stroked my hand and assured me that everyone was going to be just fine. “Alpha Ben. What can I do for you?” Alpha Issac greeted him with such friendliness that it gave me a bit of hope that everyone was going to be fine. “Elora has been concerned that you would be worrying about her. I understand she left without prior warning.” Ben stated. “She would like to collect her things.” I held my breath as I waited for Alpha Issac to answer. His response threw me. “Oh, my dear Elora, we were so worried about you but what lovely news that you found your mate. I am sure you will be very happy together.” He was letting me go without any problem. I could easily have jumped up to sing and dance in delight but I held back. Ben beamed at me and I allowed him to take my ha
