Theo’s POV

I stood a few feet away as the police swarmed the restaurant, their voices cutting through the aftermath of panic.

“Sir, we’re going to need a statement.”

Michael nodded calmly, like this was routine, like he hadn’t just disarmed a man with a gun using nothing but his hands.

“I understand.”

Understand? I almost laughed. No one understands this kind of situation unless they’ve been in it before and Michael was far too comfortable.

I leaned against a nearby column, my arms crossed loos

Michael’s POVThe moment I had seen Kim walking toward the car, my chest tightened. She had looked confident as ever and totally unaware of the threat lingering. There was something in the way she moved amd that made me uneasy.“She’s coming here,” Ashley had said quietly from the backseat.“I see her,” I had replied, my voice low.Henry had shifted beside me, already noticing it too.“That’s Kim,” he had said unnecessarily.“I know,” I muttered but my focus wasn’t just on her, it was on everything else. The men in the car across the street were still watching and now Kim was walking straight into the middle of it.“Don’t open the door,” I said quickly.Henry frowned.“What? Why—”“Just don’t.”Kim reached the car before he could argue. She bent slightly, tapping lightly on the window.Henry hesitated then glanced at me and I gave a small nod but nothing suspicious. He rolled the window down just enough.“Hey, why aren’t you coming out?” Kim asked, smiling a little. Henry forced a c

Anabelle’s POVI hated waiting, especially like this. It felt beneath me.I sat in the backseat of the car, the leather cool against my skin, my fingers resting lightly against the armrest as my gaze remained fixed on the school entrance ahead. It was filled with children, parents, and cars pulling in and out.Everything looked… ordinary.“This is a waste of time,” I said, my voice cutting through the silence of the car.Marlo didn’t look at me. He sat beside me, relaxed his eyes scanning the area with a level of patience I had never possessed.“You’ve said that already,” he replied calmly.“And I’ll keep saying it” I said.A faint smirk tugged at the corner of his lips.“Or until you accept that you’re wrong.”I turned my head slightly, narrowing my eyes at him.“I’m not wrong.”“You are.”“We’ve been sitting here for how long now? Watching children walk into a school like this is some kind of surveillance operation” I pressed. “It is a surveillance operation.”“For what? A resembla

Michael’s POVI exhaled sharply, dragging a hand down my face as I stood in the kitchen, staring blankly at the coffee machine while it hummed softly. My heart hadn’t fully settled since last night. It was ridiculous. It shouldn’t matter. He shouldn’t matter.“Dad?”Henry’s voice broke through my thoughts.I turned, forcing my expression into something normal. He stood at the entrance of the kitchen in his school uniform, his backpack hanging loosely from one shoulder, his hair slightly messy like he had rushed to get ready.“Morning,” I said.“Well, I’m ready,” he said, grabbing an apple from the counter. I stiffened slightly. There it was, the problem. I knew i couldn't convince Henry to stay home and I wasn’t in the mood to argue.I leaned against the counter, folding my arms.“You’re not going with Theo’s driver today.”Henry froze mid-bite.“What?”“You heard me.”He lowered the apple slowly.“Why?”“Because I said so.”Henry frowned.“That doesn’t make sense. I always go with—”

  • Dark Possession: Bound To The Mafia Don   What You Should Have Told Me

Anabelle’s POVFor a moment, I didn’t move. I just stood there at the entrance, staring at him.Marlo was in this town, with his men, with Mortis standing just behind him like a shadow. This wasn’t a coincidence. My heels clicked sharply against the ground as I moved forward, closing the distance between us with controlled precision.“What are you doing here?” I demanded, my voice low but cutting.Marlo didn’t answer immediately. His eyes moved over me slowly, deliberately, like he was assessing something.“You look surprised,” he said finally.“I am, you weren’t expected” I replied coldly. “No, I wasn’t” he agreed. “Then why did you come?” I asked.Mortis shifted slightly behind him, his expression as unreadable as ever, his presence alone enough to make the air feel heavier.Marlo tilted his head just slightly.“Not here.”My jaw tightened.“I’m not playing games tonight, Marlo.”“Neither am I.”“Then talk.”He stepped closer and when he spoke again, his voice dropped just enough

  • Dark Possession: Bound To The Mafia Don   More Unwanted Guests

Anabelle’s POVFor the first time since I arrived in this suffocating little town, I felt satisfied.I stood in the center of my suite, a glass of deep red wine in my hand, the town lights faintly visible through the tall windows. The room was quiet, exactly how I liked my surroundings after closing a deal and what a deal it had been.I let out a slow breath, allowing myself the smallest hint of a smile.“This will bring in billions” I murmured softly, swirling the wine in my glass. I moved toward the table, setting the glass down carefully before reaching for my phone. There was only one person I needed to inform, only one whose reaction actually mattered and that was Marlo. My thumb hovered over his name for just a second then I pressed call. The line rang once.“Anabelle.”His voice slid through the speaker smoothly.“It’s done,” I said immediately. There was a brief pause then I heard his voice.“Is it?”“Yes.”“Tell me.”I leaned back slightly against the table, crossing one le

  • Dark Possession: Bound To The Mafia Don   Too Close to the Truth

Michael’s POVFor a moment I just stared at him, standing there like he belonged. Like climbing into my room through a window in the middle of the night was the most normal thing in the world.“What are you doing?” I repeated, my voice lower now, sharper.Theo didn’t answer immediately. He straightened slowly, brushing his hands together like he had just stepped in through a door instead of breaking every boundary imaginable.“I came to talk,” he said.I let out a quiet, humorless breath.“You broke into my room to talk?”“I knocked earlier,” he replied casually.“No, you didn’t.”“You didn’t hear it.”“I would have heard it.”“Maybe you were distracted.”My jaw tightened slightly.“I wasn’t.”His eyes flicked over me briefly, too briefly for it to mean nothing, too long for it to be accidental.“Right,” he murmured.I ignored that.“You need to leave.”“Not until we talk.”“We already did.”“No, we didn’t” he said, stepping closer. I didn’t move, didn’t step back but I didn’t close

  • Dark Possession: Bound To The Mafia Don   The Sound of the bell

Michael’s POV I was already feeling it—that slow, lazy heaviness creeping into my limbs, the kind that only came from sitting in one spot too long. My fingers lay limp on the steering wheel, the crust of my now-cold pizza sitting in the passenger seat like an afterthought. Today had not gone any

Michael’s POV Evening had long fallen, cloaking the city in shadows and silence. Inside the waiting room, the silence felt deeper. Henry’s soft breathing filled the air, his small chest rising and falling against mine in gentle rhythm. He was fast asleep, sprawled across my lap, his head tuck

Fernando’s POV The sky had turned an inky blue when we finally pulled off the road. A blinking neon sign buzzed faintly in the distance, illuminating the weather-worn letters that read: Sunset Pines Motel. Its name sounded better than it looked. The parking lot was half-empty, cracked and litt

  • Dark Possession: Bound To The Mafia Don   Keep Your Hands Off Henry

Micheal's POV The air in Saint Aldric’s Hospital parking lot was heavy. Not just with the thick evening mist that rolled in from the coastal cliffs, but with a kind of pressure that settled over my chest like wet cement. I needed a shower. I needed sleep. Hell, I needed peace. I was done with my
