51. Goodnights and goodbyes

Rian looked at her watch and gasped. It was way past midnight.

Blaine chuckled at her face.

"Want me to walk you to your room?" Blaine asked as he leaned closer to her and his delicious scent assaulter her senses.

'Why is he not kissing us?' Este, her wolf, grumbled, looking very disappointed. Rian shook her head and smiled.

Blaine and she had been sitting near the beautiful lake, just talking, for hours and hours, as moon floated over them, in the soft filling sound of water sloshing in the lake.

The moon was beautiful and the night was filled with stars. Just sitting with Blaine made her thrashing heart calm down. Since Edward, she was on edge, but when Blaine was with her, she and her wolf relaxed. It must be the power of the mate bond or something.
