Ivy entered the noisy class calmly then walked to her sit which was at the back near the window, she yawned tiredly resting her head on the table.

‘Ivy’ a girl shrieked in excitement as she sat besides ivy in their class the chairs were double chairs with tables and Chloe was ivy seat mate and best friend.

‘Chloe calm down’ ivy said raising her head ‘why are you shouting as if I didn’t see you throughout the holiday’.

‘Whatever’ Chloe grumbled. Ivy smiled, she wanted to comfort Chloe but then her annoying brother entered the class. The moment Chloe and Ivan’s eye met, Ivan yelled happily.

‘Honey pie, am back’

‘Oh my god, here comes another exhausting round of PDA’ ivy said resting her head on the desk. Chloe gasped in surprised as Ivan rushed to hug her. Some people looked at them in envy-especially the girls- while some boys snickered. Chloe and Ivan where a perfect couple in everyone eyes, they were both good looking and popular but ivy knew how imperfect they both were but she still envied their love even though their PDA might disgust her a little bit. They whispered silent words of affection to each other until someone interrupted them.

‘Miss strain and Mr. Ronald class about to start’ a female teacher dressed in a black trouser suit said.

‘Miss Lucile’ Chloe blushed while Ivan looked like he didn’t care; he calmly walked back to his sit. Ivy finally raised her head and glanced at Chloe who was pouting pitifully. Their homeroom teacher Mrs. Lucile talked to them a little before they started class. Hours passed by and finally it was time for P.E.

All the girls were getting ready in the changing room; their uniform for P.E is a lilac top and dark purple shorts

‘Where do you think Tasha is, I haven’t seen her in class’ ivy asked packing her hair.

‘I haven’t seen her either, I wonder how many times I would have bad mouthed her if I didn’t know her’ Chloe responded staring at her phone

‘CHLOE…IVY’ a girl yelled as she rushed to them.

‘Speaking of the devil’ ivy said smirking as Natasha rushed to them

‘You guys I’ve missed you’ Natasha squealed as she hugged both ivy and Chloe

‘We’ve missed you too’ Chloe said smiling as they disengaged from the hug.

‘Tasha why the hell did you dye your hair’ ivy asked in horror as she stared at Tasha’s pink hair ‘you do know it’s actually against the rules’.

‘I know besides the teachers can’t say anything since it’s just the first week of resumption’ Natasha replied flipping her hair stylishly ‘besides my new look resembles my favorite anime character’.

‘Uhmm can you b***hes keep shut, you don’t own this place ya know’ a girl says angrily, suddenly the whole place was quiet.

‘Did she just call us b***hes’ Chloe asked sighing in disbelief.

‘Apparently yes’ Natasha said staring at the girl who had minions at her back. Ivy was fuming she wanted to slap that girl but Natasha held her back. Ivy stared at Natasha in disbelief while a Natasha shaked her head.

‘She’s just jealous ivy, leave her alone’ Natasha said out loud for everyone to hear.

‘Besides silence is the best answer for stupid people’ Chloe also said smirking ‘or should I say fools’. A bunch ohh resonated; ivy looked at the girl for one last time before they all left.

‘Did she just call me a fool and why would I be jealous’ the girl said stomping her feet angrily.

‘Yeah Carmela, they were right you are jealous, I bet they didn’t even know your name’ a girl commented as she left the changing room.

‘How dare they’ a girl beside Carmela fumed while Carmela stared at the door angrily.

‘No need to get angry we’ll pay them back, besides we’re playing dodge ball today’ another girl said smirking.

‘Dodge ball’ Carmela repeated forming a plan on her head.

‘Guys I don’t think they are someone we should offend especially ivy…they are way beyond our league’ another girl said carefully

‘Chill Gloria it’s not like a ball can kill her or make her fall into coma’ Carmela said frowning.

‘I just hope nothing happens’ Gloria prayed as her friends discussed their revenge ‘ivy wasn’t even at fault anyway’.

Ivy was in team b which consisted of Natasha, Gloria, Ivan and some other class mates. She stood with the rest of her team mates ready to play.

Ready’ the female coach shouted and then the whistle was blown.

Balls flew around hitting people, ivy avoided all the balls and threw a ball at Chloe who was in team a.

‘f**k’ Chloe cursed looking for who threw the ball at her then she noticed ivy mocking smile, she frowned instantly knowing who it was.

‘Chloe disqualified’ the female coach shouted.

‘My eyes are on you’ Chloe whispered doing the sign thing. Ivy brought her tongue out mocking Chloe then it happened. Ivy noticed Chloe panic face.

‘Dodge’ Chloe screamed.

‘Dodge??’ ivy asked with big question marks on her head, she didn’t even get to look in front of her when the ball hit her on her head hard.

It felt like a dream as she fell a song named panis angelicus played in her brain (song played in catholic churches before taking the bread of Christ), was this the end? Ivy asked herself as she fell. Her head hit the floor and she felt something warm on her neck and also felt like something was tearing and putting her head back together.

Her vision was muddled, everyone gathered around her but she couldn’t tell who was who. She heard someone whisper her name continuously without stopping then she blacked out.
