I pace back and forth in agitation as I await Emily's arrival. Today is the day she's set to leave for her mating ceremony with that damn Alpha Roman.

I still can't believe she refused my proposal and chose to marry a complete stranger instead. What lies has Roman fed her to turn her against me so fully? To make her throw away our love as if it never mattered?

None of it makes sense. Emily loves me, I'm sure of it. We're destined to be together. Or should I say she fell for my lies. I just have to make her see the reason before it's too late.
