LOGINStacy POV
As the sky turns darker, I get out from bathroom and dry my wet long wavy hair with towel. With relaxed mind, I walk and sit at the corner of the bed. Subsequently, my fingers turn on the hairdryer, and let its heat immediately caresses my thick black hair. At this point, my mind begins to perch on what June is doing with my brother. Yet, I cast it away because it will make me feel delusional about my feelings to June.
If somebody asks about who I will fall, I surely admit that I fall for my own private teacher. I cannot deny if I fall for a woman who is actually much older than me. Although it is seven-year-age gap for us, I don’t really mind about it. What I matter the most is her overwhelming care to me even though her yells can irritate me somehow. I know that it is her duties to give me lessons for the subjects that I’m not mostly good at, yet her caring and passionate attitude have a special place in my heart.
After my hair has dried enough, I decide to check on my schedule for the next day. Then, I notice that I have a summary homework given by Mr. Loubuskin, the History subject teacher. With the textbook and a pen in my right hand, I begin to open the certain page I’m supposed to read and comprehend its contents. A few minutes onwards, I loose myself in pouring the ideas on a piece of paper based on the existing resources written on the book. Then, suddenly, I feel the dryness rub my throat, so I get out from my room to grab a drink. As my feet caressing the stairs carefully, the noise of the familiar voices stop my steps.
“S-sam, don’t..do..it, p-please.”
“You’re drunk, honey, but still look beautiful. How can I resist your beauty, hm?”
“But not now, Sam.”
Those noise catches my attention suddenly. My intention to get a cup of water changes to find out what the couple are trying to do. Gently, I peek behind the cupboard, witnessing Sam, my brother kisses his girlfriend passionately as they sit on the sofa. As their kisses grow deeper, my brother begins to unbutton June’s blouse. The intense lust of his kisses really makes me dumbfounded because I barely sense it whenever he interacts with June.
At that moment, I also notice that June doesn’t feel comfortable through the kisses. Maybe, she is not yet ready, or there is another reason for not doing the sexual thing. With the bravery in myself I have gathered, I inhale deeply, walk towards them, and interrupt, “Ehm, excuse me, Sam??”
The intimate foreplays are then stopped. With the resentfulness fulfill his orbs, Sam stares at me and protests, “Can’t you please stop ruining my important moment?? I’ve been waiting for long time for this intimate thing!”
I lock my eyes at him and say, “Don’t you forget that mom and dad are sleeping?? They can be awaken because of your noises. It will be nastier if they find you make out in the living room!”
After the reminder comes out from my mouth, the man with black undercut hairstyle sighs. As his orbs diverts from mine, I realize that June looks at me with her relieved expression. Her beautiful orbs show a gratitude to me for interrupting the intense activity. Then, I break the silence, “Instead of making out with a drunk woman, why don’t you prepare a guest room and let her stay for a night??”
“Dammit! You really ruin my mood tonight!” Sam snaps as he storms off, leaving June and me alone.
Streaking my nape, I approach her and offer, “You can sleep on my bed tonight. Don’t worry. I can sleep on the couch tonight.”
Her orbs channeling confusion and panic at the same time, but she still manages to look calm by saying, “Well, I guess it is better for me to get home by a taxi. It’s quite late.”
I clear my throat and convince her by throwing a comment, “Are you sure about it, Miss? I’m afraid that there will be strangers or thugs around the streets, looking for random women to please their lustful needs.”
Her beautiful innocent orbs divert from mine. Along with the contemplated expression, I can sense that she has run out of ideas on how to get home safely. Therefore, I gently grab her right hand and persuade, “Just follow me. Staying here for a night will not bother my sleep on the couch.”
In a few minutes forward, June and I arrive at my bedroom. Immediately, I tidy up my books on the desk. After that, I open the blanket and fix the pillows and invite June, “Here is the bed, Miss. I hope that you don’t really mind for the modest condition of my bed.”
June enters, approaches the bed, and says carefully, “Thank you for your assistance, Stacy.”
“You’re welcome, Miss. Have a nice sleep and good night,” I utter and smile. At the same moment, I also carry a small pillow and another blanket I take from the cupboard, on my left side.
Once, when I’m about to step out from my room, I feel that her hand touches my arm from the back as she says, “Wait, Stacy.”
“Yes, Miss? Any other things do you need?” I turn my head and asks.
“Just call me by name if we are not on the lesson. I’m okay with that,” She answers and streaks a warmhearted smile that always succeed in melting my heart.
“Okay, June.” I obey her request without any other protests. I know it may sound impolite to call her by name directly, but I don’t want to quarrel for a simple thing. Plus, it is June, herself, asking me to call her name without any title in front since we are not on a private lesson.
Once, I reached the couches at the first floor, I lie down and wrap myself in a blanket. It is a bit uncomfortable to rest my body here, but I adapt easily with it, and it is for June Bentley, my crush. Even if she stays longer here, I don’t really mind when I must sleep on the couch and let her have my room for another few days.

The new day greets me gleefully. The sun rises over a few sheets of clouds floating in a blue sky. The birds chirp merrily. Some of them are flying in the trees, near the Barfield's house. It is around 07.45 when Stella is busy in the kitchen. She is fighting with the stove and ingredients as she smiles lightly. Cooking is a daily routine for her, but it never becomes a burden, even though it is quite long and busy sometimes. When the breakfast is ready on the table, the gentle thuds are perceived. Along with the noise, Stacy exists as she yawns lazily. "Morning, mom," She greets weakly, and Stella tugs a tiny smile. "You look exhausted, dear," Stella commented in a casual tone. She then inquires, "What time did you arrive last night?" Stacy rubs her eyes carefully. The indolent tone still dominates her voice. "Well, maybe around ten forty. They are so wild," she intentionally lies. Through her expression, it is clear enough that she attempts to reassure Stella so no suspic
Stacy POV As those questions come from her mouth, a beam on my lips disappears. I know how overthinking June is. She seems to feel unsafe about everything in her life, including this relationship. It sometimes makes me frustrated when she ruins the happy vibes like this. "Hm, can you not ruin the vibe, babe? It's very intimate to stay three days in a villa, having some activities to do on our own. Nobody will judge us for being of the same sex." I glance at her as the protests are released. Without looking away from my face, she takes my hand and holds it carefully. She doesn't directly reply to my words as I notice her stare seems to be more composed than usual. I know she tries to select and construct certain words into a reasonable explanation. "I'm sorry if it feels like I ruin the good vibe. I only make sure you don't deceive your mom and dad again." June responded softly as her thumb caressed the back of my hand. I can sense her sincerity in her words and actions.
Sam POV The moment, my sister entered the restaurant, my heart pounded. At that moment, I also tried to think positively. I still believed that my sister was really hanging out with her best friends, just as she had told Mom before. Nevertheless, as I step inside and follow her to the rooftop, doubt creeps into my mind. A few what-ifs appear in my head, as if those things were signs that my sister was dating the same person who had once been my fiancé. Then, the doubt in my heart grows bigger. It turns into a fact, right in front of my eyes. Not only does it appear, but it also slaps my ego. The view I see between Stacy and June is proof that awakens my senses rudely. Yeah, I admit I still love her. My heart is longing for June's existence. Each time, I always expect her chat when a notification pops up on my phone screen. Sometimes, I want to meet her as a friend, inviting her to lunch, but I notice that there will be a gap because there is nothing between us. Another th
Stacy POV Finally, the time I have rooted for comes to an end. After changing my casual home wear to a flowery knee-length gown, I gently apply sunblock to my face as I stand in front of the mirror. Then, I put powder evenly on my face. Once I have finished with my makeup and hair, I get out of my room, looking for my glittery slippers on the shoe shelves next to my door, exactly on the left side. "TAP! TAP!" The clicking sound is apprehended as I have worn the slippers and hit them on the floor. "You look stunning, honey." Mom lands her eyes on me attentively. She always notices my appearance, especially when I have an important event, but for now, I cannot discern the true intention behind my good looks. Like it or not, I must lie. I'm so sorry, Mom. I tug a gentle beam as I stare at her softly. Then, I say, "Not so stunning, Mom. I only try not to look messed up." "Really? You are in full makeup now. Are you sure this is not so stunninn'tyou looking like this for your b
Stacy POV Finally, a day without her is passed. Today is the time for me to have quality time with my beloved tutor, since she has promised to substitute the cancelled date. Now, time is exactly at 10.15, and I've just finished my breakfast. Actually, I once initiated to have a date in the afternoon, around lunch time, but she refused it. The reason she stated was she needed some time to rest herself due to the arguments she had with her dad, the day befofe. As her girlfriend, I have rights to know what she has argued with her dad. However, I need to know the limit. I cannot interfere her personal life too much although I may do it for comforting her. She can also feel uncomfortable if I come up with the matter she has lingered on before. Once I have done with washing the dishes, I decide to head back to my room. I remember that I have a video call session with Skyla and Clara. The appointment was arranged last night through the group chat since those two were free, the sam
June POV The silly jokes blending in with the casual talks. That's what I hear as I mingle with mom and James. To be frank, I'm impressed and overwhelmed. In reality, I'm like a princess running from the marvellous mansion and luxurious lifestyle, for a my own goods because this home never feels like the one due to dad's authoritative traits. Yet, whenever it comes about whether I miss a homey or family vibes around, my answer is certainly yes. Who doesn't miss having chats with siblings and mom? Who will feel annoyed to meet a sibling barely going back since he is still chasing his double degree while organizing his job? Once the dinner is passed, mom invites me to drink near the balcony on the second floor. With a glass of red wine in our hands, she breaks the ice with a direct question, "Just like what I have mentioned before. Where is Sam?" I gulp down a bit and answer, "I'm sorry for not informing you earlier, but Sam and I are no longer engaged." The wrinkles around h

Stacy POV Actually, I eavesdrop on the conversation between Sam and June. The words they share in the kitchen feels like a morning alarm that alerts me to act fast, saving my crush from my big bro who may sneak a chance to do her wrong in the morning. At that time
At the same night, Sam is lying naked, behind the blanket with his female co-worker, Britney Weston. As his head rests on the pillow, he utters to her, "Do you know if what we have just done is wrong?" "I know it well, Sam, but you enjoyed it, right?" Britney responds as her slim fingers softly r
Stacy POV The word 'engage' shouts at my ears, for another time. I recognize it behind the restroom door, the place where June is having a phone call. From the way how she talks, I'm so sure that she is talking with her mom. Actually, it's the first time for
