I grabbed every clothes in my locker and searched for sunglasses. I can't go out there with my eyes like this. I still can't believe what happened. For years, I've been trying to bestow one of my elemental mana to a mundane but it never worked. They always end up dead. Why work now? Most certainly, why her?

I glance at her. She's seating at one of the wooden benches inside the locker room with her eyes glued to her trembling hands. She must have been so shocked. Of course, she is. I would too if I am the mundane and that happened to me.

"Wear this," I said and threw my shirt and jersey short at her.

She looked at me as if she was trying to kill me with a death glare. "Bakit kailangan pang ibato kung pwede namang iabot? Wala talagang manners," she whispers under her breath though I can still hear her then she stormed out of the locker room and paved her way inside the shower
