CHAPTER TWENTY-NINE: LURKING EVIL

About half a mile from the walls of Riana, just before the glooming woods, Elroy stood beside Celsius holding a large sack. Immediately he mounted it on Celsius a familiar stench came upon his nose, he tried grasping what it was when a flash of light shun behind him, not too bright, but enough to cast a huge shadow in front of him.

Elroy instantly turned around, holding unto the hilt of his sword, ready to cut the enemy down, but what he witnessed was unexpected.

He trembled at the sight of the bloodcurdling evil he beheld, for the aura protruding out of the Behamolt signified death. As soon as Elroy got hold of himself a swipe from the beast sent him spinning into the air, with a brutal force he lands on the ground meters away from the creature.

The Behamolt saw no pity in devouring Celsius, it clawed and ripped it limbs from limbs, chewing and nibbling its insides.

It was unexpected, Elroy should still be able to move, but he couldn’t – from the fear or the fall, he wasn’t sure,
