Chapter 1

".... and with all evidences provided the court therefore finds Ms Elzandre not guilty of all charges pressed against her" the elderly man smacked the gavel onto the hard-sound block to seal his decision.

All my seven years of being in this familiar box, I've come to know the lines whole heartily and I knew that no matter how much evidences they presented to the court, I'd never be caught.

I've had so many enemies and still do. I've succeeded in making most of them my prey but there's just one I haven't gotten my hands on and that's; The government.

Law, justice, charges, court... And so many legal terms have been my biggest rival for seven years and I'll stop at nothing until I completely eradicate them from this dark world.

The judge stood up and made his way out while the police came forward to get the cuffs off my wrists and I went over to meet with my attorney.

I let my predatory eyes roam around until it caught the raging eyes of Mrs Dela Torre. The look on her face caused the corner of my lips to lift up in a smirk and I threw her a wink which only aggravated her further.

While my attorney dealt with some legal processes I decided to pay her family a nice visit but I was restricted by her furious son.

"Didn't your momma teach you not to be rude boy" he scoffed and rolled his eyes at me. He's so fucking lucky we're in a place filled with people and there was no way I could shoot him without getting caught so I let it slide since my fight was with his mother.

"Hello Mrs Dela Torre" I passed her a  sweet menancing smile which caused her already red cheeks to burn further.

"Don't think you'll get away with this Maja, I'll make sure you get convicted for the death of my husband". She threatened but instead of being scared I chuckled and shook my head a little.

"Give it your best shot senorita cause I bet you'll only be wasting your time and the court's time" I leaned into her ears to pass the message and when I was sure she was mad to the point where I know if she was given a gun I'll be lying in a pool of my blood I blew an air kiss and left the annoying building.

"Ms Elzandre" my biggest enemy of all time called and i whirled around to find her approaching me with an angry look on her face. With all the dissatisfied looks on their faces, my day got more happier. I smiled sinisterly as i waited for her to give me one of the speeches on how she'd get me caught one day.

The thing was that, she has been bent hell on bringing my shade to the light but what she doesn't know was that I'm a million times smarter than she would ever be.

Whenever there's a case against me she ensures that she becomes the attorney of the prosecutors. I'm going to let her enjoy her little detective game and when the time is right I'll eliminate her from the world.

"Attorney Alicia" I acknowledged her with a smirk and I got satisfied at how tight her jaw clenched.

"Once again you've failed to prove me wrong" she grounded her teeth in anger and shot me a glare. "Maja... "If I were you Alicia, I'll stop and watch my back. I only warn once sweetheart, leave me alone cause you won't entertain the end result" having said enough I winked at her and confidently strode out with my lawyer behind.

"Maja" I was attacked by my cry baby elder sister the moment I stepped out of the court room. I didn't want to create a scene or let my emotion out in public so I pulled her with me towards the black range rover waiting for us.

"Maja" she threw her arms around my neck and rested her head on my chest sobbing profusely.

"Martina I'm fine, you need to stop crying" I pulled her away and wiped the tears off her face. "H..how can I not worry, w..what if they found you guilty? I'd have lost my baby sister" she sobbed harder and her devasted state shattered a part of my heart I pretend do not exist but for her it does.

"Sorella" I groaned and cupped her cheeks. "This isn't a new thing for us and you know that. All you have to do is trust in me cause you would never lose me" I assured her and she just rested on my body.

I wasn't able to protect my parents from the cruel hands of death but I'll be able to do that for my sister and protect her if it means giving up my fucked up life for her.

~~~~
We arrived at the mansion and I ordered one of the maids to assist her to her room while I freshened up and get ready for another mission.
I quickly got ready in my leather outfit and left my room with my gloves and helmet. I checked my wrist to see I still had an hour left so I decided to have a drink to energize my internal organs.
My attention was focused on the scorching liquid running down my throat I didn't realize when someone snuck up behind me. I looked behind to find my lawyer and returned my attention back to my drink.
"Another case pressed against me" I stated and took a sip from the glass. "We have to talk Maja" my eyes skyrocketed cause I knew it was a statement used by normal people especially when they wanted to talk about official or legal matters.
"You have only a minute" I ordered without giving him a glance. "I can't be your lawyer anymore" I wasn't fazed by the information cause I've been waiting for this moment but his next words had my blood cooking up in anger but I maintained my cool.
"I'm sorry Maja but I'd have to tell the court all I know about you and our cases. You see I have been feeling...
"You can't back down from this Michael" I stated with no emotion attached to my voice neither did I turn my head to glance at him cause my eyes were focused on the light brown liquid dancing in the cup while my mind roamed around the dark ideas stirring in my distorted head.
"You can't force me to keep doing this Maja. I'm sorry but I can't anymore" I said nothing and finally stood up to face him.
"Your one minute is up Michael you can see yourself out" he stared at me with disbelief and ran his fingers in his hair in frustration.
"This isn't a joke Maja, I'm going to sell you out. I know I'd also get punished cause i supporte... "Honestly you are boring me Michael and I have an urgent issue I need to attend to so do whatever you wish" his hazel orbs gawked at me with surprise.
"A..are you being serious?" I said nothing and watched him with a blank look as he tried figuring out what was going through my mind.
"I'm really sorry Maja but this has to be done cause it's the right thing. I took on this occupation to help eradicate crime but here I am helping a criminal. I'd also get punished but I'd rather die knowing I did the right thing than live in guilt for the rest of my life, I.i hope you understand" I kept the silence and a nervous smile stretched on his lips before he made his way out.
"Black audi car, light skin, hazel eyes heading north west in the next... I looked at my wrist watch and smirked. "In the next sixty seconds".
"We've got that don" I hung up and shook my head in pity. "Happy mission attorney" I smirked and made my way out to the garage.
I picked one of the motorcycles and rived it to life. The smooth sound of the engine brought satisfaction to my heart and a smile to my face.
I locked the helmet around my head and stepped on the accelerator to begin my missionary journey.
The annoying traffic jam made me groan inwardly then i realized that this human doesn't follow the law so I ran between people's cars creating scratches and having them yell and curse profanities at me which of course didn't make me give a fuck.
I got to the dark and secluded narrow road that signalled the near distance to my destination.
After a few bumpy rides I arrived and killed the engine before getting down. I laid the helmet on the motorcycle and locked my gun into my holster before glancing around the deserted area to be sure there was no life except for the oblivious ones that hid underground.
I got to into the building using the code and went down to the casino. Smoke and alcohol greeted my presence and I looked around to realize we had more customers than usual.
"Good evening don" the workers recognized my presence and greeted me with fear and nervousness. I gave no reply and made my way to the strip club heading towards the deepest corner that was secluded from the attention of the people.
Placing my thumb on the keypad the elevator slid opened and I stepped in. I keyed in the number of the floor that was forbidden to everyone.
Silence and darkness engulfed my presence into its thick aura as i walked towards the mighty black door. My face was recognized by the security scanner before I was granted the permission to get in. The icy temperature of room knocked in heavily in my body causing all the drink in my system to ware off.
Sounds of footsteps became clear which signalled her arrival and she came under the glow of the chandelier which was the only source of light in the large room.
She was dressed in the same leather fit as me the only difference between our attire was that she had a large hat covering half of her face leaving just her mouth that was always coated in a matte red lipstick in view. I really do wonder when I'd be given an opportunity to see her face
She raised her right index up reflecting her signature red ruby ring. "Good job Maja" her cold and dominating voice bounced around the room.
I smirked in satisfaction and slightly bowed my head. "It's my pleasure to please you don" I replied and she smirked with a light nod.
"Our missions aren't complete Maja, we have a lot of them... "Say no more don for your servant knows her duties" i joked and luckily she chuckled at my humor.
"That's exactly why I love you and trusted you for this Maja. Now you'll have to be careful cause they are all after you and it seem like they'll stop at nothing to get you exposed but you don't have to worry about the government and armed forces I'll deal with them, just focus on the missions" she instructed.
"I'll never fail you don" she nodded in satisfaction and dismissed me. "I'll see you soon little fella" I bowed lightly and turned to leave but she stopped me.
"Baccio DeFelice, i want him eliminated first"
"As you wish don". She nodded and i took it as my cue to leave.
