“It wasn’t me who took the money from Alpha Mark for marrying you; my Pack’s Luna took it.”

Raymond gazed at her momentarily, his expression becoming a scowl. “So that’s why you took the next chance,” he said, causing all the confidence to vanish from Jennifer’s face.

Robin cleared his throat and suggested, “Let’s discuss why we came here.” Delta Brian gave a nod of agreement.

“Permit me to tell you about your timetable. You must begin training immediately, and some of our ancient teachers would instruct you. Then you must learn how to participate in Pack meetings. Rather than these, you must learn to behave like a Luna.”
