It Fits

“Ethan, drop that now. That is not a toy for kids,” I whisper-yelled at the man beside me who decided pepper spray was a good toy for a kid.

“But what if they need to protect themselves,” he defended making me roll my eyes.

“Yeah, because children of three to seven are the best at handling such things. They would just go around spraying it into their eyes for fun. Now drop it,” I replied with my hands on my waist.

It’s been two weeks since we got back together and since Ethan was leaving soon, we decided to go to an orphanage today. His assistant called to tell him there was an urgent need for his presence on a contract that didn’t want to go through.

“All right, what about this?” he asked while holding up a slingshot toy.

“No, Ethan, what if they start slinging stones at each other,” I sighed.
